Some issues with the automatic check-in that required us to have a call with the service desk, but it was resolved without further issues.
The room was nice with comfortable beds, and the restaurant downstairs is good as well. Nice breakfast
The "water saving" shower saves a lot of water, resulting in only a mist coming, not the most convenient to rinse... The toilet had a small issue: we needed to force the button back to not have a continuous flushing, a bit opposite to the shower.
it seemed to be a nice break before w hit the real ski resorts
We never managed to check in and get in contact with reception. They have a mobile check-in. However the machine didn't work after several attempts and the number was unreachable. We tried for 2 hours, also with help from next door restaurant and other residents. However we didn't manage and there was no help/ back-up at all!!!
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. especially since they have more hotels in their connection there should at least be a central point of contact. I had been traveling with my son in the car for more than 8 hours, so finally I decided to sleep in the car.
I have sent several mails to their administration/ management but no reaction!
last minute stay for 1 night before heading to Morgins round the valley
check-in was easy (ignore the other comments)
staff were helpful and friendly
shower cubicles are tiny given they are such large rooms
I wish there was more support from the hotel and more of a communal feel. I ultimately spent most of my time in my room and intended to book this to accommodation to mingle with others.
Cute small hotel on the village's main square, that has been a guesthouse and cafe restaurant since long time. Newly renovated with taste, it has nice small rooms. Apart from the staff at the bar, that was very helpful, there isn't any reception desk. You can check-in and out online or on site, at the terminal as you enter.
The room was very clean but too small. On the other hand, what you pay is what you get. So, a good VFM all-round. Breakfast was very nice, without too many choices but very fresh and tasty. Parking is kinda free on the square just outside, you need to renew your 2 hours limit (blue disk).
Acceptable price for what on offer
The smell in the bathroom
Breakfast a bit basic...
Nothing at all.
There was a very bad smell in our room, like sewage. We could not stay more than two hours, and left the hotel to find somewere else to stay. Had the receptionist not been an automated system, I would have lodged a complaint.
Furthermore, the room’s appearance deviated significantly from the images presented on booking.com, another instance of deception.
beautiful & modern Hotel, the Sauna was incredible!
Nothing
Nice restaurant area, clean rooms, has a sauna with flexible opening times
Complicated check-in process, need to give a lot of personal data. Lots of details were not as planned. We booked separate beds, then got moved to a superior room with broken heating. Staff very opinionated
Enjoyed our stay at Peanut lodge (never got the story). Spotless, modern, fun, cheerful, functional hotel. We booked the smallest room and it was small, but did the job. Reminds me of Moxy hotels - a bit quirky, but ok. Bath was the smallest. Parking was just outside the front door in the village public square. No problem for us, during high season I wonder?? Never had a machine check me in before, but it worked perfectly and spit out a key to our room. For what felt like a basic hotel, the sauna and restaurant were excellent. Food was amazing and extremely well presented. Small menu, but it is a small hotel, so makes sense. Our window opened to the side where the Bolangerie was and we went to sleep to the smell of baking bread - Glad we were not hungry - A 1st for us and delightful! Our room was quiet even with the window open, not sure if our room had faced the uphill round-about, might not have been so quiet.
Cleanliness
The shower
Location, the bed (very confortable and soft), free parking space
Breakfast (there was almost nothing when we went to eat, even was like 8:30am), bathroom (the shower is a terrible joke, about saving the planet) and paying extra money on arrival
