Pros:

Comfy beds , spacious room,private entrance,

Cons:

Not noisy but it is in a busy pub car park near main rd.
Needs black out blinds as external lights on all night , needs internal door so not constantly exposed to drafts from front door and big light from fire alarm,only basic tea/coffee so do bring your own decaf/herbal ect

Comfortable, clean room to stay. Great food.
Pros:

Lovely staff, very nice menu. Beautifully decor of pub/restaurant.

Cons:

Better tv, as bluish tinge to screen and small tv screen. Better complimentary toiletries, mini body wash etc.

Did not spend an awful lot of time in the room or at the pub. Great easy stop over

Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and I wasn't expecting a chalet type room which was very nice as it felt more private. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food at the pub was amazing!

Cons:

Room was clean but there were a few cobwebs if I'm being picky.
They don't serve breakfast anymore which was fine for us but something to consider if you're expecting that.

The property was fairly clean

Cons:

Very loud, you can hear the trains and vehicles in the car park outside at all hours meant little sleep. Bed was uncomfortable, the rooms need an upgrade! Expensive for what it is

Issue with a meal of which I contacted the Hotel/pub direct. I had a reasonable response but the tone changed doubting my recollection. Disappointing as I didn't want to make any issues public.

Very nice stay in Hartford
Pros:

Friendly staff, nice room, spacious bathroom. The pub offers very good food and good atmosphere. Pet friendly! Lots of parking space. Conveniently located across the train station.

Cons:

Some cold air entering from under the door that the person who slept closer to the door felt cold during the night. There is heating in the room and the other person was fine. Perhaps a draught excluder might help?

Pros:

Arrived on 24th December for 4 days
No one came to see if was ok or needed anything poor. On 26th the pub was closed no one came see if I needed anything poor. I had no toilet rolls, fresh towels, room never cleaned... Was not happy at all... What I paid so yes poor review for service... Martin Fisher
