DO NOT STAY HERE!!! It is horrible - appalling - antisocial- untrustworthy scammers and a shocking experience!!!!!

The staff accused us of smoking, we were presented pictures of damage that was not of our room and have not returned our bond. Our stay cost us $981 total after quoted $530 from Booking.com
This is the shadiest hotel I have ever stayed in- my family and I were exposed to regular drug deals and they were witness to a drug overdose out the front of the premises.
We were exposed to regular fights/violence and domestic abuse during our stay.
This business is not safe for families - my family were too scared to leave their room at night.
The staff were very helpful up to the point of transaction. Once they had my money there was no hospitality.
When I asked why we can’t access the television ‘free to air channels’ the manager/owner told me to google it and figure it out.
The state of the rooms were tidy but in need of repair. The light in the bathroom didn’t work.
When I inquired about my bond, I was sent a text message saying that there were some issues from house keeping noting that there was damage to the couch and there was evidence of smoking in the room (no evidence was provided to us and no one in our family smokes) additionally the pictures sent to us of the damaged couch is a different colour and material to the couch in our room.
When I questioned this I was passed around the office as a delay strategy as they have no intention of returning my money.
I have never stayed in a hotel where we have been expected to clean the room and remove the rubbish post stay.

Since checking out of the hotel with nothing but disdain and contempt and we have been lied to at every occasion and attempts to contact the hotel are blocked, not answered or hung up on when we tried to resolve the issues.
There are so many additional hidden cost when staying at this hotel - it is truly a regrettable stay for the service received. They have stolen our bond with no evidence whatsoever of us breaking our end of the agreement and I am concerned that this happens regularly.

I arrived at 8:30pm and was told that a bond deposit via bank transfer was required before issueing code for lockbox. I was informed at that time that it would take 4 hours to process the transaction with my particular bank. This would have meant i would check in to the room after midnight. There were no staff on site and no other method of transferring bond was communicated to me. The person on the phone was smug when communicating that terms and conditions on the booking site were often overlooked by customers. I requested a refund the next day and was refused. The statement issued from the person falsely indicated that he informed me of a credit card option for bond transfer, which is a blatant lie (or else i would have done that there and then).

Place is a great regret that I just want to move forward from. Paid an up front fee with booking.com and then arrive to check in and got hit with an out outrageous security deposit and utilities fee. I should of took the loss of cancellation at the point of check but i didn't!
Place only takes cash and payid, the bloke that works reception is extremely unprofessional, knows no boundaries. Iv stayed at share houses and backpackers that are better for value, safer, cleaner and way more professional. I never did get any of the deposit back because apparently I smoke🤣. Unless you have really poor living standards, from a low socio-economic background that is fine with public domestic violence and drugs dont stay here

3 week comfortable stay
Pros:

The Staff are friendly and helpful.Love the proximity to City Cat Busses, Watertown outlet, city shopping..The apartments are great for families also, as they have a full cooking kitchen, fridge, ceramic glass cooktop, washing machine, dryer..

Was a great experience
Pros:

Apart from loud noises the staff handled it brilliantly yes I would stay again as I was treated with respect. I felt listened to. Room was comfortable. My kids loved it too. Thank you for a great experience

Cons:

Terrible stay for my husband and stepkids. Dodgy people walking in and out all night through the broken fire escape doing drugs, knocking on doors and yellng. Smoking inside. They had to put a towel at the bottom of the door to stop smoke entering the room. Disgusting . They didn't sleep all night . Would not stay again or recommend to anyone.
