One night stay between airports was a nice reset and recharge.
Pros:

Lovely food, attentive staff, clean and comfortable room with excellent (if slow to fill) spa bath. Lake view beyond the road enhanced by the slightly elevated aspect.

Cons:

Steps up to the block of rooms and steep access with a suitcase. Some slight noise from laundry facility.

We had no alternative as we had to finish our hike due to bad weather and there was no where else to stay.
Pros:

There was a vacancy

Cons:

The $650 for the room for the night - extortion (they hiked prices as Queenstown was fully booked due to Chinese New Year). Room was fine but should have cost $250-$300 max.

A good stay for many reasons but the parking charge needs dropped.
Pros:

The quality of the restaurant was exceptional, food and views of the mountains.

Cons:

I felt getting charged for parking was completely wrong. I used seven different hotels on this holiday and none of them charged for parking.

Beautiful location and well-positioned for a short stay.
Pros:

Incredible location, really friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Nice little welcome cookie too.

Cons:

The room smelt a little of stagnant water / the drains. May have been the outside well though. Granted that any price is aligned with demand, was just expensive for what it was.

Pros:

Amazing views of the lake and The Remarkables from our room. Staff were welcoming and helpful. 15-min car ride to town centre.

Cons:

A little tired but the great views made up for it!

It is a great place for your holiday in Queenstown.
Pros:

The view is fantastic. It is a good pick up location of milford sound day tour. The restaurant food is very good. It is very quiet place.
