The location was excellent! So close to everything. The style, vibe and decor of the hotel is great and so cool! Welcome drink at arrival was nice. Bar area is really pretty. Nice front desk people. Room was nice but small. We had a corner window so that was great. Check in and out was very easy.

Cons:

Bed was a little hard. Shower head was broken. Dial didn’t switch to the detachable handle feature but instead sprayed water out of the side of the main shower head. Our TV didn’t really work either. It wouldn’t go back to the main screen with the app selection and wouldn’t go to the guide or even let us change channels.

Excellent Hotel in a Perfect Location

We recently stayed at Hotel Emblem in San Francisco and had an excellent experience from start to finish.

The hotel is beautifully located in the Union Square area, within easy walking distance of a fantastic selection of shops, bars, and restaurants. It was the perfect base for exploring San Francisco, with everything we needed close by.

Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing place to return to after a busy day exploring the city. The staff were also outstanding — kind, welcoming, and always available to provide information or assistance whenever we needed it.

Overall, Hotel Emblem exceeded our expectations. The combination of comfortable accommodation, friendly and attentive staff, and an excellent central location made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.

We would highly recommend Hotel Emblem and would happily stay here again on our next visit to San Francisco

Sincerely welcoming and friendly.
Pros:

Great location. Very friendly staff - sincere and welcoming and always with a smile. A funky hotel reminding us of the great writers and artists who lived or visited San Francisco. It's about the people.
