Eine Oase der Ruhe mitten in der Stadt.
Pros:

Tolles historisches Gebäude mit interessanter Geschichte.
Großer Park mit tollem Baumbewuchs - und Halsbandsittichen, die sich dort tummeln. Wunderbar ruhig - und doch ganz nah zur Altstadt (und auch zum sehenswerten Beginenhof).
Große Zimmer zum Wohlfühlen, Ausstattung eher bescheiden (kein Fön, kein TV), aber zweckmäßig.
Frühstück okay, aber ohne besondere Extras (ich hätte mich über Tomaten/Gurken/Salat, also etwas Frisches gefreut.
Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption!

Cons:

Alles war gut. Nur beim Frühstück hätte ich mir etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht.

A unique stay at real historical college in the heart of Leuven. Wonderful complex with large grounds, modern facilities in buildings going back to the 17th century, great breakfast and a five minute stroll both to the main streets with restaurants and bars and to the unmissable Groot Begijnhof (Great Beguinage) sights.

Prima locatie on de stad te verkennen als je kan leven met een basale accommodatie
Pros:

De Locatie vlak bij het centrum was een bonus. Ook de historie achter het oude pand was erg interessant. Leuven is een leuke stad met veel activiteiten in de zomer, prachtige pleinen, terrasjes en architectuur.

Cons:

Er was geen airco, terwijl het buiten eerst erg warm was. Met de ramen open ging echter prima, omdat het buiten 's nachtes rustig was. De uitrusting van de kamer was basaal, maar prima prijs / kwaliteit verhouding.

Charmant oud gebouw aan de rand van het centrum.

Cons:

Er waren wat kleine dingen kapot, zoals het schuifgordijn bij een van de dakramen, er stak een schroef uit de vloer waar waarschijnlijk een deurstopper had gezeten.

Slechte hygiëne en achterstallig onderhoud
Pros:

De locatie was prima, vlakbij het centrum

Cons:

De kamer was vies en er was veel achterstallig onderhoud, de kraan lekte en het douche putje was verstopt. Ook was het erg warm en gehorig. Er zaten geen horen voor de ramen, dus s’nachts veel muggen in de kamer.
Let op als je een tweepersoons kamer boekt, dit is zijn 2 bedden elk op een andere verdieping in de kamer. Dit staat niet goed aangegeven.

Veel te duur voor de slechte kwaliteit van dit hotel.
