Sandalwood Beach Resort

Beautiful place, love it

This is a quiet old resort. Although it was renovated it still needed work. Staff was very nice. Pool was clean! Would stay again

While the property was not as fancy as some we have stayed at the location of room 120, which was literally right on the beach, was fantastic. The room was okay and the bed was comfortable. I would have liked to have had a working kitchen for a few days' stay as it only had a sink, microwave and small refrigerator, but a functional kitchen is not why we booked the room. They had mandatory quiet time at night so even though we were right by the pool it was very quiet in our room. There was a sliding glass door that led outside with loungers and chairs available to take down to the beach and the water was literally less than 50 steps away. Sadly, our visit was cut short due to Hurricane Helene and from the photos I have seen the beautiful beach is no longer there and I doubt that our room is either. The staff was very friendly and our hearts go out to them and the other locals of N. Redington Beach and the rest of the barrier islands, as well as all people and states affected.

Right on the beach, I could not get better than that! The pool was the right temperature. I would stay here again. Merci!

I will never stay here again. The bathroom looked like something out of a horror movie

We had a great room. Until we got the young people in room 356 we were 358 and all of a sudden. We had a large family come who party all night. Played loud music. Visitors in and out room slamming the door. We couldn't here ourselves nor the television

Great location, rooms very clean, convenient small kitchenette. It is dated but worth the price. Has a wonderful open covered area with sofas and chairs so you can be right there at the beach without being in the sand! We loved it.

It's a very old resort. They do not service your room and the table was sticky. Take paper plates etc if you plan on eating at the room

Things need to be painted and repaired.
They got me in an hour earlier than my check in time which was nice.

The best part of this hotel is that the beach is 50 feet away

This hotel is not new. It was clean but it does show signs of age like using keys for the door and the air conditioner and vents. Also, there is rust on the bedroom closet track. It is a short walk to the beach. The water pressure was not good in the bathroom shower and 2 out of 3 lightbulbs were burn out in the bathroom above the mirror. The furniture looks good but the couch was not comfortable. The bed was comfortable. There is quiet time from 10:30pm until 8am but no one monitors it and other guests and their children were partying and yelling and slamming doors well after10:30pm.

Place is terrible, loud and noisy - cant rest. The beach is ok and property is just old. Rooms smell of mold. Staff is ok, felt bad because during my stay for a few hours. It was unbearable - obnoxious guests and loud kids over ran the place.

The staff was friendly, it was peaceful, spacious, and affordable. The perfect staycation!

The staff is very friendly and courteous. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and plan on visiting again!
