Blue Waters Arugambay

Liegt abgelegen in Pottuvil, fußläufig nichts in der Nähe. "Eigene" Bucht, in der die heftige Brandung sich ausläuft, d.h. man kann problemlos baden. Wir waren dort in der Off- season im Februar und hatten dort Tage herrlicher Ruhe. Gutes Essen, sehr gute Bungalows. Korrekte Buchführung und Rechnung. Moskitonetz. Freundlicher und fähiger Chef.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Relaxing and very pleasant. Food excellent. Cabins are comfortable and have everything you need. All the staff, especially Rinos, are so accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend.

Too expensive

Die Hütten liegen an einem kilometerlangen einsamen Sandstrand, an dem leider recht viel Müll angespühlt wird. Die Unterkünfte liegen im Schatten unter Bäumen und haben alle Meerblick. Die Essenspreise sind moderat und das Personal sehr aufmerksam.

Excellentes Essen, sehr netter Manager der super Englisch spricht, schöne Sicht aufs Meer, fühlten uns sehr wohl. Strand vor der "Haustüre"

Una autentica pasada! Las cabañas son muy agradables, está todo súper limpio y tienes toda la tranquilodad del mundo. El personal es super atento y tienes la playa para tí solo. 100% recomendable!

We went there for my birthday. They decorated the room, which was a sweet gesture. They had arranged a cake (we paid for it). Very thoughtful! :)

The location is stunning, almost as though it is a private beach. Very clean.

We loved our stay at Blue Waters. It's lovely and quiet, right on the sandy beach which feels like you have it to yourselves, away from the busyness of Arugam Bay, but easy to get everywhere by tuk tuk. Rinos and his staff team were so friendly and welcoming and helped us with transport, tours, as well as providing simple, delicious food and great service. The cabanas are very cute, have AC, are basic but clean and comfortable. Very happy with everything and would come again.

Hidden gem! Blue waters made our stay in Arugam Bay! Pottuvil is a perfect location so tranquil and peaceful. We even extended an extra day than planned.

The staff are so friendly, they can’t do enough for you. We had a couple of issues that they literally went above and beyond to assist us with - we were so grateful.

Traumhaft gelegen und ein sehr gutes Personal. Man kann sich richtig gut erholen und entspannen. Mit dem Tuk Tuk ist man recht schnell in Arugam Bay wo es dann schon sehr hektisch im Vergleich dazu ist.

Unser Aufenthalt in blue waters war nur traumhaft. Genau das richtige wenn man ein paar Tage in Ruhe am Strand ausspannen möchte. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und bemüht sich die ganze Zeit dass man es schön hat. Der Strand ist paradiesisch. Wir waren erst skeptisch ob man ins Wasser kann trotz der Wellen aber das war überhaupt kein Problem
Das Essen ist super lecker, vor allem das coconut Sambol!
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

We spent 4 nights at Blue Waters which is situated at the edge of Potuvelli and right on the beach. It is a lovely and quiet accommodation, with clean and spacious cabanas with good air conditioning. Having a beach a short stroll away with great swimming was great. All activities (Arugam Bay town, the lagoon etc.) are a short tuk tuk ride away. The best though was the team looking after us: friendly, helpful and super at cooking. Fully recommend and we will come back.

We spent six nights at Blue Waters as a family with two children and had a fantastic experience. The cabanas are spacious, beautifully designed, and well-equipped—with comfortable beds, a fridge, coffee and tea facilities, a large bathroom, and a huge shower.
The property is located right on the beach. Swimming in the ocean is great fun thanks to the waves. From the hotel, all local sights are easily accessible by tuk tuk or taxi. Still, we highly recommend taking a few days just to relax and unwind at the hotel—it’s the perfect place to slow down.The food is delicious, and what truly makes this place special is the incredibly warm, attentive team and Rino, the manager. Everyone is always helpful and very friendly. Thanks to everyone for the great time we had with you!
