Location and onsen is fabulous
Too crowded and the room is not properly cleaned. It feels like people keep coming and go staff doesn’t have enough time to clean
Great hotel to stay overnight at Gotemba. With access to the spa in the same building. Location is great and full of amenities. Only complaint is the in-house restaurant which offers buffet only and at a very high price. They used to offer great à la carte option, too bad that’s not available any more.

The view of Fuji mountain and the hot springs
Hotel is great, only 2 problems. First, the shuttle bus schedule is broken, only 6 rides each day. It would be better by each appointment pointing or taxi ride discounts. Second, lag of massage staffs also makes the appointment broken because hotel have more empty bed than customer usage.

We love the onsen
Amazing views from the Mount Fuji side! The room is a bit small but super clean and the staff is amazing. The buffet is a tad expensive but has a pretty wide range of food.
Hotel Clad had such an amazing view of Mt. Fuji. Had a great stay and it was nice that it was right beside the outlet mall.
The environment and room design is excellent and make people feel very relaxing.
The buffet dinner is reasonably priced with various choices and good quality.
It’s really a great decision to stay one night in this hotel to allow sufficient time to do shopping and enjoy the tranquility of the environment and the onsen, it’s a great experience!
Very conveniently located hotel for Gotemba Outlet Shopping purposes. Beautiful hotel & nice bedroom with Mt Fuji view. Gotemba Premium Outlet is right beside Hotel Clad.
Lobby provides water (hot & cold) & green tea.
Flaw: the staff are very strict on check in time, not a minute earlier allowed, exactly 3pm or after.
Another thing to note: Hotel’s restaurant closes quite early & the restaurants / food court at Gotemba Premium Outlet closes by 8pm or earlier. So do make sure you get your food / dinner before the shops closed!
