Lift facility is not there at upper floors

Ok but food quality is very poor.

I've stayed in some pretty poor hotels in India, but the Hotel Gitanjali is one of the worst I've encountered - not the worst, but one of them.
First, it's on the third floor of a shopping centre in the middle of Malda, so it's very noisy, inside and out. The 'food court' upstairs is just a room which serves a range of basic dishes - nothing fancy, OK - but it took me an hour to discover that they not only didn't have a teapot, but could not even make a cup of tea. A sign at Reception reads 'Check out 8 am' - but a notice in the room says 'Breakfast 8.30-10.00' - I couldn't even get a piece of toast at 8.
On the other hand, the hot water was if anything too hot and the wifi worked, once I got the secret code from the management. But this is not a desirable location in any sense, and if you have any other option I would advise you to take it.
But it's a 'poor' rating because even within its class of Indian hotels it is not well run, efficient or considerate of guests' needs - eg breakfast.

Very good hotel at busy Netaji more of malda town.. Specially the manager is a gem of a person. I reached the hotel at midnight... He with a bug smile welcomed.the rooms are perfect for business trip. Recommended.

hotel is 20 mins in local transport from railway station. Number of staff is quite less. Singles rooms are extremely small, but deluxe rooms are nice. food not up to the mark at all. overall experience is average

Good room and good location as well. Very close to the main market. Conveniently located in the middle of the town. Has a restaurant of their own but food is average. Very Friendly staff. Main gate closes at 11 PM so in case you are late, ring the bell.

just ok rooms. but pretty costly. on the third floor. outside food is not allowed which is a big problem.the location is good for business purpose. in the midst of crowded market. and good connectivity.

I had stayed in single AC Room which is equipped with all standard facilities but small in size. The room was clean including bed sheets, towels etc. properly washed. Though very tiny, the toilet was also clean and fitted with Geyser. I must appreciate the room service and the staff were very co-operative. Food I had ordered was also tasty.

I have book this hotel through goibibo. I had a booking for 2 double bed room AC but they provided us 2 single bed room which are extremely small, when we contact the front desk they told us they only have this type of room. When we show them the pictures of the room provided by goibibo is no resembles to the room provided by them , they said they will ask goibibo to remove those photo which means goibibo is doing business by false photograph. Please be aware of this. Our turmoil not ended over here. The toilet is very dirty unhygienic not only that they didn't bother to remove the toiletries used by the previous guest.please don't stayin this hotel, its complete nightmare. Please see the photograph in which conditions they give the toilet also the size and condition of the room. Now stranger is knocking on my door and front desk telling when this room is alloted to me and then saying oh ho sorry. I don't know what else waiting for me.
