location was great
i do think bottle water should be completely
Beautiful old building, comfortable, clean, well appointed and a fantastic location.
Walking distance to Salamanca Market and exceptional restaurants.
Will definitely return on next trip to Tasmania.
Room 4 was perfect
Nothing
Quiet room with very comfortable King size bed.
Currently no in house resturant for evening meals.
Location, staff , style
Breakfast choices too restricted . Only one coffee machine always under siege
Needs renovation. Poor quality for the price
Good location close to Salamanca & Battery Point.
The attached original old house is great.
The accommodation building is shocking architecture - a bland concrete block building obscuring a wonderful heritage listed & historical old house. Can't imagine how it was ever approved.
Nice
Bed
Beautiful hotel, rich history, easy parking, friendly staff, very clean room with a view, great amenities, comfy bed.
Breakfast is on the simple side and no barista coffee offered even though it was advertised on the breakfast menu.
A fine building in a lovely part of Hobart. Easy walk to restaurants and ferries. Well manicured gardens out the front of the main building. Nice under floor heating in bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good shower.
Outdated power (tech) outlets, hard to access (behind mattress) for charging phone. Noticed old data points still exist. Radio had iPhone original charger on top.
Landline phone light stayed on all night.
Coffee machine old type Nespresso machine could be updated.
Fridge door opened opposite side to cabinetry, attention to detail (minor).
Rates for rooms are a little high so people expect the best facilities. A little more attention to detail would fix that.
Garden View wasn’t really a view, just looked into the trees and vines of the unkempt side of the building (a bit scruffy).
Beautiful hotel, lovely room, fantastic location.
Nothing!
Huge rooms with amazing mountain views, exploring the building and the turret was a highlight.
Victorian charm of main building, ease of parking
The room was very expensive and long overdue for renewal
