Architectural gem close to Salamanca Place.
Pros:

Lenna is conveniently located for Salamance Place and Hobart harbour. The rooms are spacious and have all mod cons. The rooms are centered around an atrium which creates a sense of verticalism and airiness. The hotel is a must for architecture buffs as the main building from the 19th century was built in an italianate style which is rare in Tasmania. The public spaces are full of items from that period. Don't forget to climb the stairs all the way up to the small tower with great looks over Hobart harbour.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit basic.

Excellent central Hobart stay
Pros:

Lovely historic, centrally located hotel, in the middle of Hobart. Lovely room with a wonderful comfortable bed. We had a lovely affordable breakfast each of our 3 days stay. Staff were friendly and always helpful.

Relaxation with high quality hotel.
Pros:

A fabulous return stay at the Lenna. So close to all tourist attractions near Salamanca and Constitution Dock and Battery Point. Great parking within the hotel grounds. Helpful friendly staff.

Cons:

No problem with anything.

We really enjoyed Hobart and Tasmania but would not choose to stay in the Lenna again.
Pros:

The view was quite nice overlooking the harbour and the location was handy for local shops and restaurants

Cons:

The beds were very uncomfortable and had dips in them. The pillows were hard and lumpy

Pros:

The main historical building was beautiful, but the rooms were an extension, regular / modern. We were expecting to be in a beautiful old restored building. Neverthless, it was still fine / nice. Still love Hobart.

Superb building in excellent location
Pros:

The location and the historic building and grounds. It’s so close to Salamanca and lots of restaurants and bars. Very quiet at night. We will stay again.

Cons:

Just a little tired. It needs a bit of a revamp.

I live where I need to stay in town overnight some times so I just pick Lena.
Pros:

I really like the convenient location. As I have stayed there a few times now, it’s familiar. Staff are lovely and as a single person, it feels safe - for me & for parking my car as well.
