Bathroom ventilation poor. Condensation seemed extreme. Fresh towels damp from same. Extraction fan more noise than effect.
Free parking on-site for guest. Location within walking distance to Salamanca Mkt, CBD n the piers.
For winter, its a very weak power heating system in room, Aircon unit is too small for room size. No heater in bathroom
The view from our room is gorgeous (mountain view) especially in the morning when we woke up. It was like a painting in your window.
The parking slot, it was easy and close to be accessed from our room.
The location, close to harbour and salamanca market.
My daughter keeps sneezing and there was dust fly from the AC.
The bed is too soft.
We enjoy the Parkview side of the building, away from wind. Our room was quiet, being away from the lift, too.

I can't really think of anything to fault
The room was larger than a normal hotel room with a small dining table and couch. A lovely large bench with a coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom also had ample space with a lovely walk in shower. We booked the mountain view room which was wonderful to see the snow on top. Located right next to Salamanca place this beautiful old mansion is the perfect spot to access Hobart and surrounds. Sitting in the mansion lounge room by the fire knitting was a perfect way to end a full day of walking.
With only hanging space in the wardrobe, on a full week stay I prefer to unpack into drawers.

Location, comfort, professional staff and free parking
Good location, very average hotel but has a large bedroom.
The “king” bed is just two single mattress pushed together so its splits and when you end up in the middle of the bed. It would be good to find a way to join them together and putting some sort of band to keep them together. Instead we had to push it together every time which was annoying. The beds are comfy though.
Everything about this place is divine!! Gorgeous building, amazing breakfasts, cute little cocktail bar inside, it’s in THE PERFECT location, and for such an affordable price. I thought we got scammed when I arrived at the building because it was too good to be true. The staff are all so lovely & made the stay even better.

The history of the property is fascinating, ideal location for exploring Hobart and finding great restaurants and cafes away from the main tourist locations. A wonderful hotel with beautiful, good size rooms, comfortable beds and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
The parking is a little tight to get in and out of, but there are ample parks and the car park is secure.
So conveniently located for the Salamanca markets. Just a quick walk to restaurants and boats to Mona museum! A majestic old building so beautiful.
