Cons:

It didn’t have a lift. We’re in our late 60’s and had to lug our suitcases up a flight of stairs. Luckily we weren’t on the floor above. I don’t know how older people get on.

Ok for one night if you can't find anywhere else.
Pros:

When the hotel bar did open it was much better than the rooms and the food was ok.

Cons:

The rooms were dated and not that inviting. It had been cleaned to a fashion, but in places but could do with a good clean. The hotel bar is closed until later in the day, so no chance of getting a counter meal or a drink. check in was busy and only had one staff member serving guests.

Owner Dale & Receptionists Sara & Nicole were extremely friendly and helpful
Pros:

Very central - walking distance to everything we’d planned to cover whilst in Launceston for 2 days. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Dale who was extremely friendly & helpful.
We will definitely be back next time & for a longer stay in the newer part of the Hotel
which looks absolutely amazing.

Clean & comfortable . Perfect for the night before and the night after a bushwalking trip.
Pros:

Clean, comfortable, easy check in and check out. Luggage storage before and after check in / check out was possible too

Cons:

The price for 1 night in 1 room has gone up by AUD$40 since May 2024.
