Pros:

Everything was great. Manager of the restaurant went above and beyond and was amazing, as were all the staff. Even drove us to and from the elephant transit home in their safari jeep. Made sure everything we asked for, happened. Loved the turtles in the courtyard too.

The only redeeming element was the staff - they were very friendly and accommodating.

The facilities are way (way) past their prime and the food can be described as edible at best. You can tell this was once a terrific spot but absolute neglect has set in.

To top it off - when we wanted to jump in the pool it was being occupied by a large mafia of 20 Macaques - doing backflips into the pool. Didn’t seem right to rain on their parade.

Bottom line - the place needs a serious facelift and kitchen reshuffle.

Pros:

We only spent one night, but loved the tranquility of the Safari Lodge. We were the late October, so there were very few guests (and it was quite inexpensive).

The room was great, the garden surroundings so peaceful, and the breakfast was lovely.

We had dinner at Garlic, the restaurant next door. Great place!

Personeel is vriendelijk, kamer was net en goed, balkon en frigo aanwezig. Zwembad was minder verzorg maar toch verfrissend
