Pros:

Love this location, ease of parking and walking around Davis.

Cons:

Elevator was down, so had to get a room on first floor with window onto patio.

Pros:

Staff were all very friendly and professional. For the most part, its in a good location, it was an easy walk to a downtown area with food, coffee, and bars. Air conditioning worked.

Cons:

I was not warned about the train at all. I was in a room closer to the tracks, and the train shook the walls of my room. They at least provided complimentary earplugs. My room smelled like cigarettes. The free wifi is is bottlenecked to about 5mpbs. As of writing this, parts of the lobby are being remodeled, including the elevator which is out of order but I didn't mind using the stairs.

I should have asked for an electric teapot at the front desk.
Pros:

The location suited my needs.

Cons:

I had to park across the street for free parking.

Utilitarian.
Pros:

Room was nicely furnished and comfortable.

Cons:

The room had a window sill that was not clean. I realized it when I closed the blinds. And the area under the window was filled with leaves and a garbage bag.

Good place, bad housekeeping
Pros:

Great facilities, good breakfast

Cons:

My wife forgot her electric toothbrush and called the next day. She contacted the staff and was told that the housekeeper toss it to the trash an almost brand new toothbrush. They should ask or try to reach out before doing that.

Lackluster
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Paying for parking, you couldn't use the elevator to go down to the garage with your luggage, the elevator was disgusting, the carpeting in the room was filthy , it was easily the dullest room in a hotel I've ever been in

Pros:

Good basic room comfortable and clean. Air conditioning worked great. The elevator looks like it is on its last year. Old noisy, doesn’t work well.

Grateful it was only for one night. A room by the entrance/exit door was very noisy !
Pros:

Convenient location

Cons:

Paid parking for guests !? Unacceptable for your guests. The bathroom was a hazard-the shower door is barely hanging on and the towel handle fell off the door!

Pros:

Room was clean, large, and comfortable. Location was very convenient, within easy walking distance from train station and numerous dining possibilities.

Cons:

Handicapped accessible room was on first floor, but located in an annex building across the parking lot at the far end of the hall. We did not like the sliding barn-style door to the bathroom, which left a gap at the side. There was a Keurig coffee-maker in the room, but only one coffee pod; the other 3 were tea.

Good hotel with nice gym and friendly staff, but a bit worn in some areas.
Pros:

Room was clean. Staff was friendly and comfortable. Nice, clean gym with equipment

Cons:

Some of the public areas, and especially the elevator, are unusually worn for a Hilton.

Convenient, fine, not deluxe.
Pros:

The reakfast was basic but of course convenient.

Cons:

I arrived quite late. I was given a room on the 1st floor of a satellite building, the room next to the exterior door. If it wasn't so late after a long travel day, I would have gone back to the lobby and requested a different room.

Best Check-in EVER.
Pros:

Never is my numerous hotel stays has a hospitality professional selected the perfect room for me based on my client profile in their system. I did not make special requests. She read through my profile and assigned the room based on what she could surmise from the data there. She confirmed her observations with us at check-in. I was both impressed and grateful that the sales manager at this hotel did exactly that! She noticed we were traveling with a child from Virginia. She knew we'd have jet lag, need naps, and suffer from "mommy hearing". So she assigned us a quiet interior courtyard room some distance from the elevators and gave us a handful of back up ear plugs at check in. We enjoyed our stay in Davis even more because we were able to rest whenever we needed, could workout in the well-appointed gym, and walk out the front door to downtown Davis and all that Picnic Day has to offer. Walking distance to the Farmer's Market, the Amtrak station, and numerous shops, restaurants, and movie theaters.

Clean, and comfortable but noisy and pricey
Pros:

Good parking, nice lobby and breakfast, with options for those with dietary restrictions. Room was clean and spacious.

Cons:

Sound of trains in the early am, and alarm clock was set early from a prior guest and woke me up early. Price seemed high for what it was.

Beds are soooo hard and sink was clogged when we arrived, GROSS! Staff is friendly.
Pros:

Location - perfect for walking around downtown Davis. We love Davis but will find another place to stay next time we visit UCD. Parking should be more accommodating to folks that have a lot of luggage and are staying multiple days.

Cons:

Our bathroom sink was completely clogged when we arrived. After asking twice we got it fixed.

Parking is a super big challenge and confusing how to pay and how much it would be and where we could park. The spaces in the parking garage are too skinny and no one keeps their car inside the white line because it is impossible to get our of your car without bumping into your neighbor! Concrete pylons are in the way and do not help with the limited space.

Elevator to parking garage was broken.
