Good value needs a little TLC
Pros:

The restaurant was great. Food good and nice friendly efficient service.

Cons:

The sliding bathroom door was ridiculous. It weighed a ton and the slide was so bad it was hard to slide it at all. Once shut it was such a poor fit it offered no privacy. Not acceptable in an otherwise good hotel.

The upgrade was not worth it as the difference was a triangle small balcony with no outside table standing room only. Not value for money. Small shower slippery tiles.

Came for a quiet staycation for my wife's birthday. Could have been much better.
Pros:

Bedroom & Bathroom were very good as were reception staff.

Cons:

A lockable safe in the room is the norm generally these days. Our room didn't have one.
Continual noise of drilling/ vibration throughout the day. - Should not have beenn charged full rate for our stay, Main restaurant & Swimming Pool were not accessible/operational.
Unbelievably No Hotel Manger or Assistant Manager available to speak to for whole period of our stay. Presumably she (or He) were hiding from the many disgruntled hotel guests, or had taken the week off to avoid the noise and/or complaints.
