Outstanding Stay – Stylish, Comfortable, and Truly Memorable

We had a really great stay at Modern in New York. The hotel has a stylish, modern vibe and everything felt clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. The location was convenient, the atmosphere was pleasant, and overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back again !!

We only needed a place to sleep but we were disappointed in the overall appearance. Would not recommend.

Tired decor, small room, window was shaded by a brick wall literally 15 to 20 feet away. You could hear pigeons almost all the time. Major building work being undertaken next door which was not a good look.

Cute and clean hotel in Central Manhattan on a Budget
Pros:

Just a few blocks away from subway entrances this hotel is very central to everything in Manhattan. The lobby has warm and welcoming vibe and the staff are friendly and helpful. There were no issues with noise from other guests or anything going on outside of the hotel either. The guest lobby is nice if you want to sit down and play some games they provide or just to relax and watch TV. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is pretty great too. Even though check-in is at 3 we arrived hours earlier and intended to leave our luggage while we went to eat and explore, but Keenan was able to get us into our room right away which was very much appreciated. We had a standard room which is just big enough for a king sized bed, small chair, and small desk. No complaints about the room size though as it was adequate for the few nights we were staying. The room had a bit of weird smell, but it wasn't unpleasant necessarily, but it was strong. If you are looking for a room to stay for a few nights or a week, want friendly service, and a good location I would recommend giving this place a chance. Special shout out to Keenan for the early check in, and sending champagne and chocolates up for my birthday free of charge. He really went the extra mile there.

Stay over all was pleasant and good experience.
Pros:

The location was convenient. Walking distance to Broadway. Parking garage right by next door at a reasonable price. Clean outside. Staff were extremely helpful and professional at check in and check out.

Cons:

The beds. They were so hard and extremely uncomfortable.

Great stay at the moderne
Pros:

Jerry and Andy were great and extremely helpful. Had a lot of luggage which they were more than helpful with. The room was amazing, very clean and updated as well as really spacious with a really comfortable bed.

Great location and clean, comfortable hotel
Pros:

Location can’t be beat. Staff is so nice and welcoming and I like that there is daily housekeeping. This is our 3rd time at this hotel. I also like that there is a lounge with coffee and tea and a place to enjoy takeout food. Breakfast is a nice perc and hotel is generally pretty quiet

Cons:

Hard to understand heating and cooling. First night the heat went up to 85 degrees! Turned it off and used AC window unit only after that. Mattress was a bit saggy, room quite small and it’s so close to building next to it that the room seems dark even in the middle of a sunny day.
