We stayed at Inn on the Alameda for a week and couldn't have been happier. Our room was perfect and immaculate.
The property is beautiful and we enjoyed cocktails and dinner on their beautiful patio. The food and drinks were excellent, the best margarita in Santa Fe!! The breakfast buffet was the best, with so many options. It's not your typical breakfast buffet, the choices were freshly prepared and delicious. The breakfast staff, Reyes and Sara, were some of the nicest people you’ll meet and were so helpful in suggesting activities to enjoy. The afternoon parking attendant, John, always greeted us with a smile and friendly conversation. I don’t often write reviews but Inn on the Alameda is truly wonderful place in every way. The location was ideal for walking into the plaza and surrounding area. We absolutely will return to stay at Inn on the Alameda. 10/10 stay.

What a quaint, friendly, homey place. The rooms are unique, clean and well done. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and has a choice for every taste. There are beautiful fireplaces in the restaurant and lobby area. Reyes, our new friend, keeps the breakfast place going and greets each person like an old friend. The service is excellent. There is no elevator so if you are in need of one just request a ground floor room, as we did. The restaurant and bar,Joe’s Tequila Bar, in the hotel is marvelous. I would stay here every time I visit Santa Fe.
Great Place with Great Service. I would give them a 6 if I could. Excellent location!! Fantastic breakfast!! Wonderful staff!! We’ll be back!!
We stayed for the first time this April and the grounds were blooming with Spring flowers. The entire staff was so friendly, kind, and accommodating !! They made our stay so very enjoyable, from check-in to breakfast service to Joe’s Tequila Bar! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and there were always such pleasant folks there to help. Dinner at the Tequila Bar exceeded our expectations as service and food were both terrific. The front desk gave great directions and recommendations, and they had umbrellas at the ready and kept the fireplace going on cool, showery days.
We were close enough to walk to the plaza and experience many of the local landmarks. Our room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfy - the corner fireplace was a welcome addition on cool evenings and the sunny balcony was a treat on sunny days. Private parking and walking paths were a bonus.
This is an absolutely delightful hotel with a wonderful staff and very good bar and restaurant! We stayed for 5 nights in February and loved our stay. Reyes, Jose, and the rest of the staff at the front desk, bar and restaurant were exceptional. Very friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean and decorated in a charming Southwest style. We would definitely stay there again.
A wonderful choice. The staff is incomparable. So warm and welcoming. They even put an orange cone to save my parking spot. Breakfast was very good. Again the servers were there for your every need. The rooms are spacious. The location is ideal. Book here and enjoy.
Great place to stay that's unique and so welcoming! From the Front desk staff, housekeeping, shuttle driver to the sweetest women working the complimentary breakfast...the staff was Amazing!
The rooms are decorated Sante Fe style and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast buffet was awesome! Best I have ever had!
I would highly recommend if you want a great hotel at a fair price!
We had a wonderful stay at Inn on the Alameda. We were upgraded to a suite--which was lovely and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was great. The hotel was located close to the historic section of Santa Fe, so easy to walk everywhere. The staff was very helpful, too.
This place is amazing!!!
We only stayed here one night, as we were passing through on our way home. We will stay here again!
This Inn is on the edge of town. It is very walkable to the plaza and surrounding areas of Santa Fe.
The room was very spacious & clean. It had a little courtyard with table & chairs, which was nice. We didn't hear any other people while we were in our room.
The service was great! Christopher explained all about the hotel & the area & gave us some recommendations for meals. We talked about the best time to visit, and what to do in the area.
The Inn is beautiful. There is a restaurant attached (Joe's Tequila Bar), which is amazing! There is also a sitting area in the lobby. Since we were only there for one night, we spent our time walking around Santa Fe.
Love the suite room; we used the fireplace, and I was very happy to have a separate “living” room since I was having back issues and ended up sleeping on the couch several nights as I needed a more firm resting place. The staff throughout the inn was very nice. Excellent breakfast buffet in the morning with great employees, and I appreciated having the local newspaper there. We also liked the restaurant for dinner. I definitely liked the free parking as it was one of the reasons I chose this place. Two thumbs up. We would recommend you!
Sara and Reyes were very accommodating. Their service was great and they went out of their way to make you feel welcomed every morning. The breakfast was amazing!
Joe’s Tequila Bar Staff was awesome. The house margarita and ceviche were like no other.
The room was clean, quiet, and with an awesome balcony.
We will definitely be back and recommend anyone visiting Santa Fe stay here!!!
The hotel provides great value. They include free parking, free excellent breakfast, and a wonderful and well organized shuttle service with a smile. The staff are warm, the breakfast staff and on top of it, and the lobby is warm and inviting with a lovely fireplace. The restaurant serves very good food. It has a great vibe.
Our room was nice but also very functional. A safe was provided, along with ample towels, robes, magnified mirror and a good coffee maker with bold coffee.
You are in walking distance of the square and Canyon Drive. It's a very good location. We really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel like valued guests.
We stayed at the Inn on the Alameda in February and loved everything about our experience!
What an amazing location close to the Plaza and hundreds of galleries and shops. Ample guest parking. The rooms are comfortable and very cute. Staff are incredible! Joe’s tequila bar serves excellent food and drinks. An outstanding breakfast is included in the stay. Reyes and Sara who staff the breakfast area in the morning are very friendly and welcoming and make sure you will have everything you need to make the start of your day special. For example, they have many GF options which made me happy :) The breakfast bar has lots of options ranging from typical American breakfast fare to New Mexico specials.
The lobby area has a complementary water station where we routinely filled our water bottles and didn’t have to buy any bottled water. At high elevation you are always thirsty and have to hydrate, so that was a huge plus.
We will be staying there again on our return trip. Thank you for making our first visit to Santa Fe so very special!
Quaint friendly motel that feels like a junior ski lodge. Rooms are well appointed with large beds. Community room is where you can relax by the fireplace or enjoy an afternoon cocktail with some guacamole and chips from Joes Tequila Bar. The array of options with the included free breakfast are amazing as well as the centrality of the heart of Santa Fe to the square or Canyon Road. Thus privately owned hotel and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable.
Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The Staff was the highlight from the front desk, to Reyes who manages the breakfast every morning (which is outstanding) to Jose who took his time and gave us a great education at Joe’s tequila bar. Marina was incredible in making our experience of Santa Fe more than memorable.
The hotel is in a great central location, walking distance to everything. The rooms were very comfortable, and homey. Value for what we paid here is unmatched we will return.
Excellent clean inn located in walking distance the historic downtown area. Free breakfast was excellent. The staff, Rachel and Reyes were fantastic, courteous and very helpful making our stay memorable. Highly recommend the inn
Outstanding hotel! I have stayed in all levels of hotels in Santa Fe the past 40 years, and the Inn has been the best experience by far. Nice rooms, great food, free parking, and best of all; an outstanding staff. I won’t stay anywhere else from now on.
This was a somewhat disappointing stay. We had booked a room with a fireplace but when we tried to get into the room neither our keys nor the hotel's master key worked. The desk clerk tried hard to assist, but there were no other fireplace rooms available. She was also not able to process a refund between the cost of the fireplace room a regular deluxe room and we had to reach out to Chase Travel to contact the Inn to arrange a refund, and it was more than 2 weeks before they could get confirmation from the Inn and process a refund. The room we stayed in was comfortable, but we then had further problems - one morning we discovered when they cleaned the room they removed all the partially used toilet paper rolls and didn't replace them! We then had a problem with the TV remote batteries suddenly dying and the coffee maker dying (they couldn't have predicted that, but it added insult to injury). They were quick to respond to all three of these issues, but the fact that they happened raises questions. We also had to keep stopping at the front desk to get more coffee pods!
What surprised me most is that no one from the hotel reached out to apologize for the issues (particularly the initial room issue) and I would have expected that for a hotel of the quality of Inn on the Alameda.
The rooms were small, but beds comfy and homey breakfast. The lobby area had a cozy sitting room with a wood-burning fireplace. The decor was excellent throughout, giving you the feel of a cozy southwestern inn. The art galleries are close by which are the heart of the town.
Beautiful place with great rooms and the staff is excellent!! Reyes(restaurant)and Rachel (front desk) were amazing!! So friendly and love what they do! We got a room with a fire place which made it even more cozy! When we ran out of wood they brought some right over. Breakfast was great! All homemade and a great variety! Close enough for my meetings but far enough away from lots of people. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
