Lovely Inn - Great Location
Pros:

We had a lovely visit for 5 nights - deluxe room (we did not have a kiva) . The beds were comfortable and the water pressure for the shower was good. The Inn has a nice comfortable lobby with a very good casual cantina (Joe's) . We ate dinner the first night there - I had a fresh grilled burger and my husband enjoyed tacos. We had breakfast each morning on the patio - nice choice of food items and a super staff that kept our coffee mugs filled and the buffet maintained - great people! The Inn is very well located and easy walking to Canyon Road, restaurants, etc. There is ample parking. We really enjoyed our stay!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Santa Fe Gem
Pros:

Our stay at Inn on the Alameda was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at home. The inn has such a beautiful, authentic Santa Fe character, with charming adobe architecture, lovely gardens and courtyards, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it feel like a true retreat.

The location couldn’t be better — close enough to easily walk to the Plaza, Canyon Road, galleries, shops, and restaurants, while still feeling wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was a real highlight, and the staff couldn’t have been more gracious, friendly, or helpful.

We also loved having Joe’s Tequila Bar right on the property. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Santa Fe, with a terrific atmosphere and excellent drinks.

What really sets the Inn on the Alameda apart, though, is the hospitality. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely cared for, and there was a warmth and personal touch throughout our stay that you simply don’t find everywhere.

It’s the kind of place that makes your visit to Santa Fe even more special. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Great experience, cannot wait to return
Pros:

We spent six wonderful days at the Inn on the Alameda in early June, and this was already our third stay. Once again, it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like returning to a place that feels like home.

We would especially like to express our sincere appreciation to Irma, Reyes, and Sara at breakfast. Their genuine kindness, warmth, friendliness, and wonderful hospitality made every morning a truly delightful experience. They always greeted us with such warmth and made a beautiful start to each day.

A special thank you also goes to Jared and the entire front desk team. Their professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to help were outstanding. Whatever we needed, we were always welcomed with a smile and assisted promptly and graciously.

And our deepest thanks go to Heidi, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. Her dedication and personal touch made a lasting impression on us.

The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, and every part of the property was impeccably clean and cared for. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their excellent work.

We also loved the breakfast, with its delicious and varied selection, served in the restaurant, which transforms into a wonderful tequila bar in the evenings, with a charming and atmospheric garden patio. We enjoyed dinner there several times as well, and every meal was excellent. The selection of margaritas and tequilas is impressive, and the service is consistently attentive, knowledgeable, and professional.

We particularly enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the evenings. It is clearly not only a favorite of hotel guests but also of many locals, which gives the restaurant a special character. We had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with some very interesting people during our visits. One evening, we were even fortunate enough to meet Joe, the owner. He is a genuinely warm and impressive person, and we would like to congratulate him on putting together such an exceptional team.

The location is also ideal for discovering Santa Fe. We enjoyed wonderful walks around the neighborhood, with the Plaza and Canyon Road just a short stroll away, and many of the city’s highlights easily accessible on foot. We especially recommend an early morning walk to the Cross of the Martyrs — a beautiful way to begin the day.

In short, the Inn on the Alameda has become a very special place for us. We always feel at home here, and we are already looking forward to returning for our next stay.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for another memorable experience. Five stars are truly deserved! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We'll be back
Pros:

Beautiful property in a great location. Rooms felt dated, but the overall atmosphere more than compensated. We were there in July, so the weather was nice to sit in the courtyard for breakfast. Breakfast buffet was basic and not fancy, but -- like the room -- the setting made it very enjoyable. Staff was outstanding -- from the young man managing the parking to the restaurant staff. And the in-house "Joe's Tequila Bar" was one of the best restaurants we tried in town. The Inn is just blocks from the historic downtown plaza.

Fantastic. Great staff.
Pros:

Everyone was so kind and helpful. Heydi helped with the reservation. Paolo greeted us in the parking lot and directed us to a spot near our room. Monse checked us in. She was also the shuttle driver and told us all about Santa Fe. Rachel and Maryll also manned the reception desk. They were so great to help. The breakfast was amazing. Best place to stay. It is close to the shopping on the square and several museums.

Special place
Pros:

The minute you step inside this lovely Inn you realise you’re in a very special place. Front desk staff are so welcoming and kind. Our room was charming with comfortable beds. A cute patio and well equipped small bathroom. Joes Tequila bar is a gem for wonderful drinks and food and they always save tables for hotel guests in Lobby. We ate outside on patio served by wonderful charismatic Poço. Breakfast also on patio and included with room rate was incredible. Everything even the pickiest crowd would have trouble faulting. They think of everything. Little touches that mean so much! They picked me up at train station and whisked me to hotel in minutes. We’ve lived in NM 38 years. We have stayed in numerous hotels in Santa Fe but will only stay at the Inn from now on. Having just returned from European adventure the service and charm at this Inn are a thousand times better than anywhere we stayed in Europe. Thank you

Summer Stay at the Inn on the Alameda.
Pros:

The Inn on the Alameda had the single most customer-focused staff I have ever been around. From the front desk staff all throughout the property. We had a blast staying there. Fantastic rooms. Great location. Outstanding breakfast buffet (different items every day). Special shout out to Reyes in the buffet. Additionally, Joe's Tequila Bar had excellent food and outstanding margaritas. Abe (bartender) was excellent and his margarita's were over-the-top good. For a 60 year-old hotel, I couldn't have been happier.

Exceptional experience
Pros:

We stayed for 3 days and wished was longer! The hotel staff are exceptional! The breakfast and lovely patio to dine are a rare treat and made the top of our list for favorite! We had much to compare to as we are finishing a 32 day roadtrip coast to coast and have stayed in 20 different hotels! The entire experience at Inn on the Alameda was one we will remember and plan to return!
Thank you to Reyes and Sara for the perfect breakfast service and attention to detail.

A great location to enjoy all that Santa Fe has to offer
Pros:

Our stay at the Inn on the Alameda was wonderful. It is perfectly located - walkable to the town square and must see sites. My room was spacious, clean, super quiet, and very comfortable. My sister's room was in a separate building and heads up, had a skylight. Good to know that in advance since the sun rises early in Santa Fe. We parked our car and the hotel shuttled us to locations when it was too hot to walk! And then they returned to bring us back at our convenience. You can tell the team here enjoy their work and the guests they welcome. We both enjoyed staying here for the convenience, hospitality, on site parking and comfortable accommodations.

Well-regarded hotel that could use a refresh
Pros:

Parking is very limited. Access is a tight turn in from the street.
Staff very helpful with luggage- thank you Frankie.
Our room was fine except for the ashy smell from the fireplace. Beds were comfortable but creaked as did the wooden floor, no sneaking up to the bathroom during the night. Wood blinds that let light in. We had a nice little courtyard attached to the room and there are other outdoor courtyards to enjoy. Lots of vegetation.
We ate at the hotel, service was prompt, dinner was tasty.
A nice overnight stay.

Wonderful Four Night Getaway
Pros:

We recently stayed four nights at Inn of the Alameda, the room was quiet and private and we had a wonderful getaway. Highlights are the great location only a 10 minute walk from the Plaza, very nice complementary breakfast each morning, wonderful food and cocktails at Joe's Tequila Bar, and most of all the kindness of the staff which comes shining through. Special shout-out to Rachel at the front desk who made some good suggestions on sightseeing and dining, gave us a lift around town several times, and always made us feel welcome and taken care of.

Worth Considering
Pros:

The reality is Santa Fe is a very special place and the price of admission is high. With that said, this place has a lot to recommend itself: First is the great location, easy walking distance to the Plaza. Second is the main building, with a great sense of place. The (included) breakfast is in a delightful indoor/outdoor space that invites lingering. That restaurant is very popular in its own right. Staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are functional, but nothing special in terms of atmosphere or amenities. yes, they come with a balcony or patio, but ours was overlooking the parking lot and not very inviting. They offer a van shuttle to get you to lacal attractions which is nice.

Finally - a hotel that feels like home!
Pros:

The Inn on the Alameda was fabulous! The atmosphere was open and inviting - beautiful with flowers and cascading plants, Joe's Tequila Bar, a courtyard or inside dining, and staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Did I mention free shuttle service? Everything was walkable, but for dining across the city, we chose the shuttle. And breakfast? Wow. Full hot Sante Fe fare as well as oatmeal, cereals, fruit, bread options, hot coffee, juices, and 5-star service from Reyes and her team of expert servers. Our beds and room were comfortable and they had coin washer and dryer, as well as a fully equipped exercise room. Winding down each day at Joe's 1equila Bar was a joy with quite an array of margueritas and wonderful wait staff. We enjoyed meeting interesting fellow travelers as well as regulars from Santa Fe in this laid-back, top of the line Tequila Bar. It felt like home!

Terrific santa fe hotel
Pros:

This was a wonderful vacation experience. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful with many choices and the breakfast wait staff is super helpful. Our room was large, comfortable with a separate living area with its own TV. Lots of privacy. Great location - could walk to plaza, canyon road. Close drive to museums. Wonderful hotel shuttle to/from destinations within a mile of hotel. Used it several times and was easy to access. Would definitely stay here again when in Santa Fe.

Perfect location with wonderful staff
Pros:

We wanted to stay in or near the plaza and this Inn worked our great for us. A very short walk to the Santa Fe Plaza and even closer to museums. However, what makes the Inn special are the people, they genuinely want to help you with anything you need. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was great.

Inn on the Alameda - Santa Fe gem
Pros:

We loved everything about the inn and its staff. The location is ideal. It is within walking distance to Santa Fe historic District as well as Canyon Road area. The shuttle service they provide is invaluable. Breakfast is amazing, as is Joe’s Restaurant and Tequila Bar for dinner. Every one of the staff is so kind, welcoming and willing to assist, especially Reyes. What would make it perfect would be a refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Kindness and comfort.
Pros:

The location is perfect for exploring the nearby galleries on Canyon Road. But what really made this place special were the people who went the extra mile to engage and make my stay so enjoyable. I want to give a shout out to Raiysa in the restaurant. Always with a welcoming smile and superb service! And the breakfast buffet was a nice feature which I didn’t expect.
Thank you !
I have to give a HUGE thank you to the night security man, Carlos or Charlie… I had ordered an Uber the night before to take me to the airport and it never arrived. He graciously offered to take me when he didn’t need to do that. Truly an angel. I won’t forget. Santa Fe has plenty magic of happening and that is just another example of the kindness that exists there. I will come back. Thanks again.
