Older, overpriced hotel in need of updates
Pros:

The location is very convenient to Tiburon downtown area

Cons:

An older lodge that was probably nice in its day, but now suffers from poor maintenance, lack of upgrades and amenities. Wildly overpriced for what you get. Issues: poorly lit outside entrance door to room; large area of mold over the tub, other spots of mold in the corners; our "deluxe king" room looked directly on the lobby exit, with large curtains that blow wildly in the wind as the only privacy for the small patio; no valet available to help with bags; maid service incomplete (didn't properly stock items that we had to get from front desk); insufficient receptacles for bedside; fairly hard "old school" mattress and pillows; constant buffering on TV channels due to poor cable/satellite made some movies unwatchable. All of this at $360 per night. Very poor experience

Overall, my stay was very pleasant and I plan to visit again.
Pros:

The staff was friendly, the food was good and the grounds were beautiful. I also really liked the location. The hotel is a short walk to a beautiful park along the bay and it was a lovely place to walk.

Cons:

The rooms could use some updating. My room was clean but had a musty smell. The bed was comfortable and the complimentary waters were nice to have.

Pros:

This is a great property in a beautiful location. The rooms were simple, but clean. We stayed in a dog friendly room and I was impressed at the cleanliness and lack of pet odor.

Cons:

The front desk staff was not very friendly.

Terrific stay in Tiburon - will definitely stay again!

Room was terrific - central in Tiburon. Facilities were nearby and the pool and the decking area were great.

Nice little town, terrible acommodations.
Pros:

The location was great.

Cons:

The place is terribly run down. From the pictures on their website, you have an expectation that it's current - it is not. I wouldn't even take a shower - it just felt dirty.

Great location, mediocre hotel.
Pros:

The location is great and the staff was very friendly!

Our room was not very clean. There were hairs on our bathroom counter and stains on the towels.

In need of some love/updates
Pros:

We have stayed here many times over the years, and love the area. Staff are amazing and accommodated a room change with no issues.

Cons:

Seems like there needs to be some upkeep/maintenance done. Pretty run down overall. The handle on our bathroom faucet would fall off when touched. The mirror around the sink was peeling/falling apart. All but three lounge chairs at the pool were ripped. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Used to be a great property, just needs some tlc.
