Nice location
They were running emergency checks on elevator and alarms in the early morning
Location. Pool was heated.
We didn’t get the superior room that we booked. We booked the superior room on the first floor but when arrived we were declined because of availability and were sent to a regular room on the second floor. Room is small and definitely not worth the price.
Good location
Rooms very old and run down for the price.
The staff was professional and friendly
The room was nice and clean
We had tacos tequila Tuesday and that was very good
The location was fantastic
The first night the tv did not work and we reported it and when we got back from Sausolito the following afternoon we check and it worked
We left to have dinner and walk around and when we were done for the evening and turned on the tv it did not work...no picture
I suppose there are worse things in life w/o having a tv for 2 days
The safe never worked
And lastly 1 ply toilet paper...you can do better
Room location was great. We were a little disappointed in the condition - water in the sink when running was smelly "sewer" smell and not pleasant.
Also, the lack of amount of shampoo, conditioner, soap was crazy! One small bar of soap and shampoo was crazy. I know we could get more but having to ask for more was irritating. There wasn't even a bar of soap for the wash sink and one for the shower! One for both???
The property seemed rundown and less cared for than we have ever experienced in our 30+ years of coming to the lodge! We have always stayed here as it felt like a "butique" hotel with so much attention to detail. We have referred it to so many family and friends as well as co-workers but now will find it difficult to recommend.
The Tavern which we always occupy for all meals.....disappointed beyond with the high prices for what we got and totally baffled as to what changed. Our server shared that they are not affilitated with the hotel any longer so there you go....that was our answer. bottom line.......we LOVE the tiburon lodge but not sure we will return anytime soon.
Beautiful views from our balcony. In downtown Tiburon so once we parked our car we didn’t need it until we checked out the next day.
Restaurant - hôtel et surtout Tiburon
Hôtel un peu vieillissant pour le prix ..
Accueil réception - cela pourrait être mieux
Location
It is in great need of maintenance and repair. Every room is pet-friendly and it smells so.
The staff is at a minimum and help is only met with a minimum effort to get back to their personal life. I have stayed in this lodge visiting family for over 50 years and in the last 5 years the lodge has been deteriorating greatly. Now it can only classify at 2 stars max.
Its proximity to San Francisco & other places we wanted to visit, like Muir Woods. Also, we were allowed to check in early.
We stayed here for the holidays, it was very close to family in Strawberry so it worked out perfectly to go back and forth. It was fairly quiet and they allowed dogs which was a huge plus. Bed and room were very comfortable! Coffee and tea station are handy too.
We wished there was a little breakfast of some sort but they only do a late brunch on the weekends.
