Aside from the shuttle service, I really liked this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Breakfast was even better than I hoped. The location of the hotel is good, just off a major street but not too noisy. There are good places to grab a meal just across the parking lot. The staff is super friendly and helpful. And I really loved the room and having a coffee station and a small kitchen with a large refrigerator. The shower water was nice and hot too.

Cons:

The shuttle driver I had, Luis, was great (!) but the whole shuttle service, particularly the scheduling, was not good. I scheduled a shuttle from the airport to the hotel by phone shortly after 11:00 a.m. because I had just missed the last shuttle for the morning and the next one was not coming until 3:00pm. Somehow all my information was lost. I called and texted several times before I was finally picked up. Several days the shuttle service was cancelled completely due to the weather even though the streets remained clear. (They cancelled it for the forecasted weather and not for what actually came to be.) I also heard the man at the reception desk calling the shuttle driver and asking why he wasn't there yet today (my 3rd day in this hotel) and the driver said he wasn't driving that day because of the weather. But the weather has been fine. Just cold. And the streets are completely dry. The shuttle to the airport is usually not a problem, but I advise taking an Uber or a taxi to the hotel. I was exhausted and cold by the end of my wait. This seems to be a common problem in Houston. I stayed in another hotel here, close to the airport, that had just as many problems with their shuttle service and there were no weather issues at the time.

Pros:

Good location. Place was clean & quiet. Rooms were nice and spacious. Bed was comfy and shower was good. Nice to have full size fridge, sink, dishwasher and full set of dishes. Air conditioner works great. Free breakfast was good.

Great hotel with outstanding service
Pros:

Two ladies at front desk provided outstnding service. Arriving after cruise with 2 small kids, we appreciated a lot early check in.

High crime poor management.
Pros:

My vehicle got broken into and the manager was not on site all week long and was also not helpful. She didn't know how to use the camera system in place and didn't get the video asked for by my company security director.

The management and in high crime zone, low income area.
