Have had occasion to dine at the The Main Street Station Hotel restaurant 777 Micro brew. Each trip has been great - excellent food (large generous portions), well priced and great service. A nice retreat off the main drag (Fremont) in 'Old Vegas', Always look forward to going there.
BTW - Good selection of their own tap beers AND the Burgers are to kill for!
Well done 777 and would recommend to anyone looking for a 'real meal' in downtown Vegas!
The last time I stayed at Main Street Station was just before the hotel embarked on project to replace their stack plumbing system, and a room refresh cycle. Speaking with a staff member, the hotel completed the final phase of these projects last year.
Booking & Check-in::
I booked five rooms via a travel aggregation website. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk was able to locate our reservation swiftly. The check in process was quick and easy.
Room Quality::
Upon entry, the color palate and décor of the room felt so familiar, I thought (for a moment) that they didn't remodel the room. Stepping into the bathroom area, I saw significant reconfigurations since my last stay. A major refresh had occurred.
With reference to the main sleeping area: The bed sheets were crisp and bright white; they appear to be new. The mattress was comfortable. The furniture was clean, in good condition, and without bumps or bruises suggesting a high rotation of occupancy. The carpet was clean; there were no stains or tears. The closet was open (no doors); there was an iron and ironing board. The room also had a safe and refrigerator.
The bathroom is where you might see the most wear and tear; but this has been remodeled and well maintained since. It is clean and fresh. All of the towels seem new, as the pile was heavy, and the color bright white.
I took photos of my room upon entry. I was also able to see the other four rooms booked; and these were consistent with the room assigned to me.
During our stay, our group ate two meals on site: breakfast buffet in the "Garden Court", and dinner in the "Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery". Both meals were good.
We enjoyed our stay -- both the rooms and the facility as a whole.
If you go to Vegas and need somewhere to park your RV and be able to hook up this place is amazing.
Found a video on YouTube decided to give it a try - absolutely worth it. The area was clean actually saw someone out there picking up trash, when they say they have security they mean it - we actually saw them. The bathrooms were amazingly clean and you needed a key card to get in. Granted yes you are on the very edge of everything so one side is nice. The other side is housing and the other side, I’m pretty sure it’s a homeless camp, but you are across the street from Las Vegas fire department headquarters and when security does their rounds they ask you if you’ve seen any homeless people or someone who shouldn’t be there. It was only $58, and had full 30/50/water/sewer right at your own site, a dumpster and pay washer dryers.
If I had to give feedback it would be to have better signage so folks know to go across the street to the Main Street Hotel to check in.
Highly recommend Main Street RV park.
It’s easy to get lost in reviews when it comes to LV. This was my first time staying Downtown so we could do Fremont. Main Street Station Hotel couldn’t have been a better choice.
1- booked through Expedia and everything was as advertised!
Great remodeled room ( free upgrade to top floor/view room)
Super clean w/Comfy beds and pillows. Interesting old artwork/paintings/photos throughout
2-service was excellent! From reception to security!
Shout outs to Jose the main bartender, Nary the best Blackjack dealer and Johnny O the Kaoroke host!!! See you in June Brudda
3- ample FREE parking
4- 5 minute walk to Fremont experience where we had a blast!
Great bands, street performers, drinks& food and of course people watching!!
5- $20 uber ride to the Strip
6- really good brewery try the hefe
Tips-
-buffet is so/so-i’d pass on the crab legs (watery and tasteless) and stick with the prime rib and other options
-Like anyplace near Fremont bring earplugs if you have trouble with sleeping ( crime partner always has hers!!!)
-being nice goes a long way in LV
We stay with Main Street station twice a year. On this current stay the light in the bathroom went out, which was handled quickly, ty, but we never received any housekeeping. For 4 days and 3 nights we did not have housekeeping. We never use the "Do not disturb" sign. I stopped by the front desk on my way out to specifically request housekeeping and no one ever came. Please make this right so we can continue to stay with our favorite casino.
Overall our experience was good. We had booked a double queen room and when we checked in they asked if we needed two beds and moved us to a king room. This room (1102) was on the side of the hotel that faces the highway so there was a ton of noise all hours of the day/night. The room had the toilet/shower separate from the sink and in order to close the door to the bathroom, you had to do either straddle the toilet or turn shimmy your self around so the door could be closed. The bathroom was so small that the cleaning crew didn't even clean behind the door. The location was convenient to Fremont street without being too close. The gift shop was not open at anytime during our trip and the gaming counter was open very irregular hours.
We just stayed at Main Street Station for the first time. We honestly didn’t expect much but were pleasantly surprised. Our room was lovely, the service both at the hotel and casino was exemplary. We ate at the Triple 7 brewery and the buffet and both were very good. We will definitely be back any time we’re in Vegas.
We had a great experience. We arrived after 9PM and they upgraded us to a suite. Beautiful. The restaurant and brewery were amazing. We would go back again.
Clean hotel within a short walk to Freemont street. Very friendly staff. Great buffet and Triple 7s brew pub. Have stayed here multiple times and will continue to stay at Main Street.
Comfortable place to stay and it was less crowded than other casinos, which I liked.
Clean and beds and pillows very comfy. No coffee pot in room sadly. Front desk lady too busy with her phone.
Had an amazing stay. The room was spacious and spotless. Definitely a place I’d love to return to!
