Pros:

Location was good. Walkable to lots of restaurants. Comfy beds and pillows.

Cons:

Heavy doors and you need your key to access EVERYTHING. Our chair in our room had gross food or something splashed all over it and there were hairs all over the bathroom walls and shower. Staff were not rude but also not friendly.

Overall I loved my stay. Cleanliness. Security at the gate. Room was big and very cozy.

Unfortunately my shower door did not work. While showering the door would not close.

Best hotel in Riverside
Pros:

It’s honestly the only place I stay at when I come to Riverside. They treat everyone with the highest respect and love. Even my dog gets all the treats. The parking is incredible. It’s gated in Garage. There’s a food lab right next to it and it’s the best area to explore. The management is the best I’ve ever dealt with. I stay every month for my work trips.

Beautiful Hotel

The central location of the hotel in downtown Riverside was definitely a plus…as well as the wonderful service provided by Athena, who suggested a number of great restaurants in the area, as well as pointing out various things of interest to do during our stay. In this regard, my wife and I greatly enjoyed the nearby Pedestrian Mall, which was filled with a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as marvelous architecture from another era.

Even so, it is important to note that despite the beauty of downtown Riverside, things changed around dusk…..when much of the area began filling up with the homeless population of the area; a number, of whom, went on loud tirades. Thus, while this is a beautiful place to walk during the day, it is not a place I’d advise anyone to visit in the evening.

In any event, we will definitely stay at the the Hampton Inn during our next visit, as the service and amenities can’t be beat!
