Hidden Gem
Pros:

The Safari Inn has been in several movies, the location is central and safe. The motel is older, but the rooms and grounds are immaculate. We had a quiet sleep, I would absolutely love to stay here again. Thank you.

The new parking fees of $25 a day. That is crazy to pay such a high fee to park at a motel.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Disappointed Booking wouldn't let me cancel.
Pros:

I should have done more research before booking here. There's no continental breakfast, no microwaves in the room, the beds are covered with thin sheets (no real blankets), and if you stay downstairs, the noise is so loud you will not sleep. The staff did their best to make us comfortable, but they wouldn't let us cancel and leave. I'm not sure why this place has such high reviews; perhaps it could be fun if you were using the shuttle to go to Universal, which we were not. I 100% do not recommend staying here, especially if you are traveling with children. Also, Google says the parking is free, but they charge $25/a night to park in a "public lot." You could park on the street and save your money. There's a pool that's advertised as heated, but it isn't. The cleaning staff were working their butts off but the management needs to make some serious upgrades.

Cons:

I didn't like anything about our stay. I hated this hotel and will never stay it again. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Ive stayed at this property twice for a universal studios trip and both times were great! Its local, upkept and has a shuttle service that is free. Late check out is amazing. I would recommend if youre there as a couple get the king suite with a kitchen. The double beds are a bit tight for two people but thats soley on me for booking later. I will continue to use their property in the future. Very clean property with a heated pool!

Pros:

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The room was lovely and there were little elements such as Starbucks coffee, deodorant, toiletries and a bottle of water which were nice little touches. We used the shuttle to downtown Burbank and Universal which was so convenient. The staff couldn't do enough to help, the hotel and the area are wonderful. Would highly recommended and will definitely return.

Pros:

Older hotel but great stay. Pool for kids and restaurant next door. I love they have laundry machines. 8/10

We stayed for universal they also have a great shuttle service just book in advance it does get booked up at popular times.

Pros:

Don't bring your pets. It's not worth the aggravation and pet fees. You will be watched at all times and can't relax. Not worth the headache and price.
