I feel a microwave in the room is expected. An additional charge of $10 and having it delivered is not okay and seems a bit greedy

HB’s Old German Beer Hall Anniversary Visit
Pros:

No matter the time of year always an excellent stay with a “Top Shelf Staff”at The Ambassador Hotel of Milwaukee! I have lodged at the Ambassador off and on for a number years now for different events in each of the four seasons, greatly satisfied each and every time!

Totally enjoyable.
Pros:

Good price, reasonable for quality. All of the staff was friendly & accommodating. The Art Deco decor was really special.

Cons:

My TV kept coming on on it's own. My handicap room was a little far to walk.

Pros:

Affordable , great location by the rave / eagle club venue , staff was friendly , spacious , unique , non judgmental, room service was fast efficient friendly 10/10 would stay again if in the area for another event

Cons:

no vending for drinks or snacks late night, absolutely not a deal breaker , will just acquire late night refreshments before check in

Pros:

The shuttle service was a great bonus traveling to & from Summer fest and a huge thanks to both Ms T & the evening driver for working late and accommodating all the guests that attended Summer Fest. All the staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful when needed. Very beautiful atmosphere inside the hotel & clean.

Cons:

The fact that the hotel was out of regular coffee for the rooms was super inconvenient. We were there for 2 days so I had to go buy my own. Being a coffee drinker & for the price per night to stay at the Ambassador, this was very unexceptable. The pan handlers were a nuisance, while sitting on the patio and a couple of times were in the lobby asking guests for money.

Exceptional stay and we can't wait to come back.
Pros:

I loved everything about my stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and has so much character. The elevators stood out of course and really add to the experience- and they were super fast too!

Beautiful historic building. Cool art deco decor. Convenient location.

Cons:

Don't plan on using the complimentary shuttle service for a nevent like a ballgame. Seats 12 and only runs once an hour. Reservations required and were completely full before we even arrived at the hotel. Only one very slow small elevator in service. Stained carpet and broken lampshades detracted from the ambiance

Would stay at again if I go back to Milwaukee and that venue for a show.
Pros:

The decor of the lobby and was awesome. The hallways were well lit and clean also. The staff (Venton) was great. He got me a room on the lower level like I asked for. Was very helpful in actually making the reservation which I didn't have until I got there. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only there 1 night but would have had no problem staying longer. Didn't use amenities as I was in town for a show across the street. That was very convenient to be able to walk there. Neighborhood seemed a little sketchy, but I didn't go adventuring. They also had a nice parking area.

Cons:

Can't honestly think of anything except maybe the neighborhood. Stay away from the McDonalds right down the block!

Odd hotel and disappointing rules.
Pros:

It was a fine stay nothing special.

Cons:

My travel plans changed and I didn’t need the second night but was not allowed to cancel it. Very frustrating and a waste of money. Also I coulnt buy water which was weird.
