Paying for parking
Property harassments from homeless on various nights of stay inside and outside of hotel property! Bell employee had to run one homeless individual off the property while harassing my spouse and chasing me around our vehicle.
Reserved room was unacceptable due to cleanliness! Sheets were placed on the floor for pick up and what we noticed is photo attached, room not vacuumed, blinds torn in bathroom, bathtub knob broken, robe with torn strap provided, cable not working properly. Complaints were brought to staff members at the main check-in desk immediately after checking in and during stay. Manager was not available on sight to foresee and witness in-person to address our concerns.
Still a good value. Convenient location just outside city center. Descent services.
They have closed their excellent dining restaurant. The space is now used for breakfast only. It used to serve excellent lunches and dinners as well. Also, we put the "refresh" room service notice on our door, but when we returned to our room late that evening room we saw that room service had not come and the room was not refreshed. With the closure of the restaurant, a little of the old vibe and full service polish has vanished. A decent enough hotel, but we feel it has lost something. The vibe (and staff) now just seem a little tired. If you just need a place to sleep, it's probably OK, but we may look elsewhere next time we visit Milwaukee.

Very historical building had a lot of character which I love. Bed was clean had no stains on mattress protectors and smelt clean.
Hair was still in the shower, the floors were not vacuumed properly or shampooed in a a while it looks like. Found food crumbs, and coins in a lot of places in edges of the room.

Hot tub was disgusting and cold. I left an item behind in the room tried to retrieve it and no one can locate it… as if my stuff magically disappeared. Someone working the front desk hung up in my face when I asked to speak to manager
The hotel is absolutely beautiful! Staff is wonderful, especially Dave, the shuttle driver!
It’s not a like per se, but for some reason our bathroom lights didn’t work at around midnight until the morning when they came back on. It was weird. The lights and tv worked fine in our bedroom.
I originally liked it the first time because of the hot tub in the bedroom.
I didn’t like the fact that it was a slow night and it’s my second time returning and accidentally booked the wrong room with the hot tub, already paying $200 something dollars and they wouldn’t upgrade my room complimentary considering I checked in at 11pm to check out 11am, they had lots of rooms available and it was for less than 12 hours and they couldn’t be courteous enough.
Came for the Miguel concert for one night and was amazed by the quality of our room! Very spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff working in the bar were exceptional, gotta try the pepper jelly and cheese curds!!!
