Albergo centrale, ottima colazione e accoglienza, la camera un po’ datata. Nel complesso una buona struttura per soggiornare in città. Parcheggio pubblico convenzionato nei pressi della struttura, consigliabile se non si hanno molte valigie, lasciare prima la macchina

Pros:

There was a misuc festival right outside the hotel, and we were informed by the hotel that noise levels would be higher. The hotel assigned a room at the back, and doors were solid and able to block most of the noise, so we weren't disturbed during our stay

Central and good value
Pros:

Easy to get around the city centre. Good communicators when asked questions like parking (which is around the corner) and let us know about the festival and noise from it. Good size room with a desk, hanging space and a single chair. Comfy bed with big windows overlooking the square.

Cons:

Small things. Using a coffee machine for tea making doesn't work as you can still taste the coffee. Aircon vent dusty. And sink in bathroom gurgled for a few minutes after using it. And it would be great to have a second bedside table - one on both sides.

Pros:

Could see the cathedral from the bedroom window in the middle of the old town. Lots of restaurants nearby. A good starting point for the Camino Primitivo. Added bonus was that we arrived during the town’s festival weekend, so music and dancing in the square outside until the small hours 🤪. All good fun!

Cons:

We booked a double room for 2 people. But the room was not wide enough to accommodate a bedside table on each side of the bed.
And there was only 1 bed light, and 1 plug socket in the centre of the headboard. I slept with a recharging cable across my pillow.

Good location normally but not during the festival of San Mateo. Plaza crowded and noisy

Cons:

Breakfast options never changed. Room had a faint sewer smell. No way to make hot water in room except the coffee maker which made the water smell and taste like coffee. Very noisy due to festival. Probably okay normally. Plumbing very noisy from adjacent rooms.

Great place to recover from long overseas flights in the heart of Oveido.
Pros:

A beautifully maintained property overlooking a busy square and close to the cathedral. A great place to stay multiple nights.

Cons:

Oveido is a little expensive for a Pilgrims budget, but location premium is worth the extra money.
