booking.com automatically books a twin room.! (?) The staff knew this but did not check with us in the confirmation. They just explained it when we arrived. - Not their fault but a 5star hotel should advise their clients if then know in advance there may be a problem, not just wait and see.
They tried to fob us off with an interior room, so no windows!! Must be the worst room in the hotel. No mention of this when booking. After complaining and being told there were not other rooms as the hotel was fully booked - surprising as it did not seem full) they managed to find a small twin room ( we wanted a double) with a half window.
The hotel is very tired and a bit grubby. The breakfast was ok, but quite basic. Nowhere near the 5 star was expecting. So disappointed!

Pros:

Ein wunderbares Hotel in sensationeller Lage direkt neben dem berühmten Raffles Hotel. Viele Highlights der Stadt sind von dort aus zu Fuß zu erreichen. Für Singapurer Verhältnisse ist das Hotel klein, was aber gerade seinen Charme ausmacht. Der Empfang ist persönlich und außerordentlich nett. Das Personal ist von ausgewählter Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft, wie man es ganz selten erlebt. Nichts ist ein Problem. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und sehr gut.

Außergewöhnlich war die Möglichkeit, den Swimmingpool auf dem Dach des Hotels auch am Abreisetag noch zu nutzen, was für uns eine Riesen-Erleichterung war, da unser Flug erst in der Nacht ging. Wir konnten somit frisch geduscht und erholt zum Flughafen fahren.

Zusammenfassend eines der besten Hotels, die ich je gesehen habe, eine absolute Empfehlung!

I stayed in an Oasis room. While the rooftop infinity pool has nice city views, the overall experience fell short of what you’d expect from a hotel that presents itself as 5-star.

At check-in, the focus was more on rules and “don’ts” than on welcome or service, which set the tone early on. The room felt old, with stained floors, poor-quality furnishings, and poor lighting that makes the space feel dull. The minibar was largely empty, with only a few boxed juices and tea sachets, and no bottled water was provided, guests are expected to use tap water.

Room service wasn’t functional, and service overall was minimal. You basically handle your own luggage, no one opens the doors or offers assistance, which doesn’t align with a luxury hotel experience. Housekeeping standards were also disappointing, as there was hair left in the bathroom. Checkout at 11am felt quite early for this category of hotel.

One positive note is Rang Mahal, which offers good food and noticeably more attentive service.

Overall, despite the nice pool views, Naumi Hotel Singapore does not deliver a luxury experience and doesn’t live up to its 5-star positioning.

Pros:

Good location since it's convenient to buses, the MRT, and walkable. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks, access to neighboring restaurants, and friendly and helpful staff. Pretty robes for use in the room and the rooftop pool with views over the city was great!
