very welcoming staff...lovely cosy bed and great view

Very noisey, had to share towels, 1x bath and 1x hand for 2 people. We did not book breakfast , but were disapointed there was no cook on hand to change our minds.

Didn’t sleep much constantly humming noise all night

My recent stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. My room was both spacious and pristine. The standout feature, however, was the incredibly attentive and friendly staff.

Great location for us, as we will be needing a secure parking as we are in scooters. This has this and is a good walking distance too all things for food and drink

Asked for 1 king bed and a double sofa bed and was given 4 single beds and a sofa bed, there was no door handle on the bathroom, shower was broken and beds had broken legs really not happy for the price i paid

The staff were outstanding. Breakfast was included, however we were going to be leaving prior to the start of their serving time. They provided us with a "to go" breakfast, which was very kind. They assisted with carrying our heavy bags up the stairs to the room. The television did not work. The staff tried to assist us, but no luck. The shower in the room had no hot water. They called back in their maintenance staff. They tried to fix it, but when they couldn't, they provided access to another room's bathroom so we could have hot showers.

Staff tried to be helpful but a smile doesn’t fix any problems. No tv, no plug in sink, no handle on toilet door and no hot water in shower or hand basin.

There were 3 of us sharing, beds fine, only cups & glasses for 2 provided, no spoons for stirring hot drinks, had to ask for towels etc as none in the room and the tv didn’t work at any time.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Bright large clean room with sea view. Full Scottish Breakfast was well cooked and more than enough. Would prefer potato scones rather than hash browns. Would definitely choose same room and hotel when we visit family again soon.

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT EXCEPT THAT ON BOTH NIGHTS WE WERE THERE THE HOTELS FIRE ALARM WENT OFF,AND THE ALARM WAS DIRECTLY UNDER OUR WINDOW OUTSIDE. IT WAS HARD TO GET TO SLEEP AGAIN,HENSE THE POOR REVIEW.

The staff were extremely helpful and willing to accommodate any request. The room was very comfortable and spacious and the parking is great and close to the main building.

Staff 10outof10 bar and surrounings 10outof10 our room handles fell off bathroom door no privacy tv did not work room had no heating a large room which needed heating at night breakfast did not have a menu chef did not know what gluton free meant which my wife required 0outof10when i had pre phoned first about this requirement and told no problem shame this spoilt our stay.

Couldn't fault it. Everything was straight-forward and everyone was friendly. Breakfast was great.

Nice place to visit Hotel 2 min walk to the beach.. Hotel clean & rooms nice with sea view.. staff helpful but when busy barstaff overwhelmed need to sortout ordering procedures. Lunchtime menu very good Evening menu could do with more options for non curry eating guests & also more dessert choice. Would visit again :-)

Food excellent, Location great, Safety features all in place.

The hotel is ideally located as I have a daughter living half a mile away and this is my only reason for visiting Carnoustie. The town itself is very pleasant. The hotel is clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The full Scottish breakfast really sets you up for the day!
