How long it’s taken for me to get my refund. It’s not because of La Quinta. It’s because of booking.com. Will never use this website to reserve a stay again.
The gal who checked me in was so sweet, breakfast area was cute.
The hallways smelled, the unit smelled of urine, there was hair all over in the shower, amenity bottles were empty, one bed wasn’t even made completely. Fridge was not on, when turned on everything froze in the morning.

The rooms smell very bad, because of the carpets. Too many stains in the carpets. Extremely dirty under the beds. Room equipment did work like lamps, light switches, etc..

The door lock to my room malfunctioned a couple times and was a major inconvenience. No housekeeping and had to turn my bath towels in at front desk.

Our drain pipes were very slow draining. When we took a shower it filled the sink full of water. The shower was so draining and we stood in water while we showered.
It was hard to enter our rooms because the locks we messed up. The elevator was really sketchy and felt unsafe and made bad noises.

The location was close to where we wanted to be.
One of our rooms sprung a leak in the middle of the night and we had to relocate sleeping children. The front desk staff seemed unprepared for such an instance.

It was very dirty, we came with three couples. We stayed because our room wasn't dirty, but theirs was very nasty. When we first arrived we couldn't even get into our room the keys didnt work, no biggie, but the AC did not work, they never made an attempt to fix it. The mini fridge did not work either.
