It was clean.
Lights between the two beds did not work, there was no soap, body wash, shampoo, or conditioner, hand held in the shower did not work which caused me to stand in the shower (I am disabled), water pressure was poor (water restrictions are in place), and we requested a wake up call that never came thereby causing my husband to be late for his procedure at the hospital.

We were there for two days the hair drier was broken I reported it but never replaced it.
I did not like anything at all from this location. I had booked my stay through booking.com paid the room with booking and when I arrived at the hotel the manager wanted to charge me again for the room after I had already paid for it and said that the fees paid to booking were only to reserve the room. He was extremely rude, unknowledgeable, mind you it was 2:30 am and after traveling all night, this was a nightmare of experience. The staff is rude Very, Very Rude. I ended up not staying there ..

The pool and breakfast were great
The room could use a good cleaning
The pool was the highlights for the cleanliness and warmth. This was really the only part that the kids enjoyed.
The breakfast is mediocre with the same thing being served nearly every day scrambled egg, eggs, sausage, toast, oatmeal cereal.
We stayed in room 122. I booked this hotel in advance prior to visiting Colorado Springs, the room is very worn out and dirty. I took pictures of the pull out mattress on the sofa, the stained cushions, the damage done to the curtains.
There is no hot water in this room and the tub constantly dripped all day/night, during our stay when we were there there was also no TV channels.
I also booked the King suite with a Pool view and they gave us a king suite with a wheelchair ramp view.

The bathroom was too old. Old rusted areas in tub. The toilet is so short a 5 yo kid can touch the floor. The sink was rusty around the drain. Lastly there was no soap in soap dispenser at the sink. Large stain on rug by the desk

My stay at this La Quinta Inn was one issue after another.
Room problems: The first room I was assigned had uncomfortable beds and a broken bathroom door lock. At the front desk, I was given a second room — but I couldn't get the door to unlock to even enter it. I called the front desk, and instead of sending someone to help, the staff member asked me to come back to the reception desk myself. They gave me a third room, which also had no bathroom door latch.
No toiletries: None of the rooms had hand soap, body soap, or shampoo. I reported this, and staff said they'd restock — they didn't. I ended up buying my own soap. It took until my third day for the toiletries to actually be filled.
Food: The waffle batter at the breakfast area had gone sour, and nothing was done about it even after it was noticeable.
Overall, this felt less like a hotel and more like a paid rest stop with a bed. I don't plan to stay here again.
Great place to rest while you explore this amazing area. Comfortable and convenient location.
