Very helpful front staff. They were able to fix the heater issue for us quickly. We like having a nice hotel to stay with our dog.
The breakfast staff was quite rude about our dog being with us during breakfast. We sat as far away from food and others we could and guest didn’t seem to mind that she sat quietly by us and asked if they could greet her. BTW there are no trays to bring food back to rooms as she suggested. I would have had to make multiple trips to bring our breakfast to the room as my husband would not be able to mange it with his disability.

The staff was really nice. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was extremely friendly and helpful. The woman who worked the breakfast area did an exceptional job of making sure everything was topped up and filled and that it was clean, she was always cleaning and tidying up. Plus she did it with a smile. Rooms were clean, great size and a good price. Glad we can bring pets and not get charged a rediculous rate.
I think for the size of the rooms the beds should be queen size, they are just too small. The air conditioner in our room was not working properly.

the breakfast was not good. you don't put frosted flakes into a turn-type cereal dispenser-crushed flakes!! where were the fruitloops?? Plus, they ran out of perked coffee-the gal in charge was not paying attention. We had to wait for her to make more coffee.

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had – La Quinta, Grand Junction, CO
This was my first time staying at La Quinta in Grand Junction, Colorado, and after this experience, it will absolutely be my last. Based on the condition of this property and the overall experience, I seriously question how this location is still operating.
I booked a room for four people, but the bed was extremely small—smaller than a standard queen bed. Even worse, the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. The sheets or bedding also caused a severe skin rash on both my wife and me. The irritation was so bad that I ended up sleeping on the floor for several hours.
I had a late check-in, but the front desk never informed me that breakfast was served only from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
At 6:00 AM, an alarm suddenly went off, and I have no idea how it was set. Then, starting around 7:00 AM, the hotel became a construction site. The noise made it nearly impossible to sleep. If you are hoping to rest after 7:00 AM, forget about it.
The plumbing was another major issue. You could hear the noise every time someone on the floor used the restroom, making it difficult to enjoy any peace or privacy.
I honestly cannot imagine how my stay could have been worse. In less than 10 hours, I experienced an uncomfortable bed, a severe skin reaction, disruptive alarms, construction noise, and plumbing problems.
I strongly recommend avoiding this La Quinta location in Grand Junction, CO. A hotel should provide basic comfort, cleanliness, and a reasonable environment for guests to rest. Unfortunately, this property failed on every level. Management needs to address these serious issues immediately.
