Sensational bed, pillows & shower. Cannot fault cleanliness. Our room above beer garden/outdoor dining - a little bit noisy as Hotel is very busy. Our meal was terrific.

Weekend in Orange
Pros:

Centrally located in CBD in orange. No complaints about the hotel. The downfall are the hoons speeding up and down the street in the evening and the rabble of people loitering in the street disturbing sleep. Don't accept a room facing the street. No peace in the evenings especially on Friday and Saturday nights. My friends had a room away from the street and had no issues.

We have stayed a number of times at the Parkview hotel and the rooms have always been lovely, but this was the only time we found the shower was smaller due to a different room size.

Couldn’t stay in the hotel due to the smoke drift from the gaming rooms below - irritated my nose and throat too much and as I’m a singer spent less than 15 minutes in the room. Attempted a refund but it seems staff were always busy and couldn’t manage it so we were still charged for two rooms.

The king room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. We ate a meal in the restaurant mine was a schnitzel Thursday special and my husband had the pork and duck. The schnitzel was a big meal but rather tasteless. I much preferred the duck meal and the sweet potato fries were delicious
