Not going back to that nasty place.

Subject: Formal Complaint + Refund Request – Rooms 306 & 311

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay.

I was assigned Room 306, which was infested with roaches. I immediately reported this and was moved to Room 311. Unfortunately, the same issue was present there as well.

When I tried to speak with a manager, none was on property and I was left dealing with junior staff who could not resolve the issue. When a manager finally came on site, I was made to wait because she was in a meeting. The lack of urgency and the rude treatment I received from the manager left me both frustrated and physically ill from the stress and discomfort.

This experience fell far below the standard I expect. I am requesting a full refund for the 2 nights, or suitable compensation for the inconvenience. Due to how I was treated, I will not be recommending or staying at any of your properties again.

I expect a prompt response regarding how you intend to resolve this matter.

It was clean and in a good location.

Cons:

The hotel was surrounded by dozens of muscovy ducks that laid their eggs everywhere so be careful walking outside as they're very territorial.
On the fence about it being over $100 a night as it was very basic and outdated.

It is the worst thing a person visiting that place in Florida can experience.
Pros:

Only the location and I have to mention the *only* redeeming quality of that hotel: a lady who works at breakfast. She is kind, smiling, helpful, and attentive. She is the best thing about this place.

Cons:

The administrative or front-desk staff is terrible—rude and ill-mannered. The same goes for the cleaning staff, and don't even get me started on the gentleman who works at breakfast. We will never stay at that hotel again.
