Conflicted. Some good, some not so good
Pros:

The location is cute, the more you explore the more interesting it becomes.
Good Soba spot right across the street.
They let you check in early if the room is ready which is a a treat for people arriving from long flights. Good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast service is good, good fresh ground coffee in the machine, lounge area is open and stress free. You’re invisible.

Cons:

The beds are kinda short and petite, obscured windows make the rooms claustrophobic and the air dry.
Most of the staff speak no english so recommendations are next to impossible to obtain, they are many and they are all busy amongst themselves you’re thus invisible to them. (Then randomly on the way out, we had a great front desk person. Helpful, friendly, & knowledgeable.)
I’ve never written such a long review, I guess I’m conflicted 😅

Pros:

Design hotelu, przestronny pokoj, my mieszkaliśmy w locie na dachu, taras. Miła strefa do poczkenania.

Cons:

- bardzo słabe śniadania, jedno z czterech dan do wyboru, nieduże, bardziej europejskie. Kawa w termosie.
- w Japonii spaliśmy w 3 hotelach, ten miał najmniej japońską obsługę, młodzież, ktora byla dość oschła. Wszędzie indziej, ludzie byli wyjątkowo mili.

Een geweldig begin van onze reis in Tokyo en Japan.
Pros:

De gastvrije en mooie designs van alle ruimtes. Compact en efficiënt ingericht . Een prima keuze in menu’s voor het ontbijt. Zeer smakelijk . Een erg fijne bar op het dak met prachtig uitzicht.

Cons:

Een entree op 2e verdieping is jammer en het was mooier geweest als er daar al een 1e ontvangst was geweest om met de beleving te beginnen…

We will be back….
Pros:

It was our third time to stay in the Lively. We love the hotel, the staff and the rooftop bar and also the location.
Loads of restaurants, bars and shops all in walking distance. Some cool architecture in the back streets it’s worth exploring by foot.

Cons:

Nothing major! Just tiny little details like it would be great to have a little bin and tissues in the bathroom, and also spoons for the teabags and a bit sugar…

Over priced place, not lively.
Cons:

This hotel costs about $500 per night, but it did not meet expectations. When I arrived around 3 PM, my room had no view—just a wall from the neighboring building. I requested a room change because of this.

There were also several missing amenities: no luggage stand, no shoehorn, and no bathtub. Overall, it did not feel like a $500-per-night hotel.

The breakfast was just average—nothing stood out. I didn't finish the plates.

I would not stay here again.

Le cadre était magnifique et surtout bar du dernier étage donnant accès à la vue sur la tour radio de Tokyo recommander à y aller le soir.

Cons:

Le coin fumeur malheureusement est dans le sous sol , très difficile au niveau de l’odeur.

Amazing stay in Toyo
Pros:

The vibe at the property was excellent. The bar area is fantastic and a nice and convenient area to just hang or do some work.
