The location
This hotel is waiting for the Marriott bulldozer. This is the dirtiest hotel that I've seen in a really long time.
Terrible Breakfast & Obvious Budget Cuts
The food quality made it clear that management is making severe budget cuts.
The scrambled eggs were low-grade powdered eggs.
The orange juice was heavily diluted and tasted like water.
The waffle mix was watered down so much that it would not cook through in the automatic makers.
Filthy Property Conditions
The lack of basic maintenance and cleaning was shocking.
The hallway carpets were all wrinkled and bunched up.
It was obvious that no one vacuumed them during my entire stay.
There was also the faint smell of weed, even though there were smoke detectors in the room.
No Sleep Due to Slamming Doors
The absolute worst part of the stay was the noise. The doors have heavy springs on them that cause them to slam shut violently. Why would someone have these type of doors? It completely kept me from going to sleep and woke me up early in the morning.
Unprofessional Staff
The customer service was nonexistent. The guy with dreadlocks working the front desk was glued to his phone every single time I saw him. Most of the time, he was sitting down so low that you couldn’t even see him behind the counter.
Just a nice room.
Everything was fine.
Location to the park
Staff were not very nice did not greet us explain any services or even the wifi password, our door handle was broken, bathroom had not been cleaned hair all over the shower room wreaked of weed and cigerate smoke
Proximity to truist park and the staff was great!! Our check in clerk changed our room after our AC was broken upon check-in. He even went up to room to see if he could fix it before he changed our room .he was absolutely sweet and had a smile and very professional attitude .
Now for the not so great. The halls and rooms were dirty, old carpet with stains and buckling of carpet. Floors were filthy with trash and had not been vacuumed..only saw staff vacuum on day 3 of our stay. Was told upon check in that if we weren't staying more than 5 days,we would have no room service and if we needed fresh towels, etc,we would have to bring the dirty linen, towels, etc to desk to be swapped out.isnt that what i paid for?Had ants in our room , stains on dusters on bed and not very clean.the sheets were not best quality with thinning and major wear with beading of fabric . The floor in room was not vacuumed well with particles of trash on floor. Bathroom doors had bottom of door frayed out. No slip guards were in bath tub with the bottom of tub being slippery when wet. Room door had pieces missing from underneath. Had to go back to front desk numerous times to have our keys reprogrammed due to not working to open the doors..in fact several guests had to have this done. Breakfast was not good and was very minimal.
easy check in and location
not clean elevators were rusty and old and rooms were not worth the price paid
God where to start. Me and my mother stayed at this hotel on Tuesday the 25th of August, we picked it because they allow pets and we were moving to Florida with my cat. We got there closer to 9 PM due to traffic, and the front desk agent was very pushy and kinda rude, but whatever, we were tired and were ready to lay down. We were given room T19 which was on the basement, again not the biggest of deals. We opened the door and was IMMEDIATELY hit with a mildew smell. The first thing we see is that giant spot in the middle of the room. Ok, not sure why that was allowed to stay there and not be cleaned up before the room was rented but whatever. The AC unit literally sounded like it was about to die any minute when we kicked it on to get air circulating in the room due to the smell. I checked the beds and thank god no bed bugs. I went to go shower and get ready for bed, figured I could deal with the smell for the night, not the end of the world for 60 bucks. Grab the towel and there is a visible stain on it, so thats cool, then look down and there is actual feces on the base of the toilet. Like what the actual heck? The hallway reeked of weed so that was cool too. Get ready to bed and my mother informs me she found a pill on the floor by her bed. So does housekeeping even do their jobs or? Like what? Ok, I will deal with that in the AM right? Im exhausted at this point. Kept getting woken up all night because of the clearly dying AC unit that barely kept the room cool. Next morning figured ok, imma grab a bite to eat. Go to their "breakfast" and the eggs are clearly powdered eggs that you cook in the bag (I know this because I was in the military for almost 10 years, I know powdered eggs cooked in a bag when I see/taste them.) skip breakfast will get something on the road. Go to check out the front desk guy was nice, I showed him these pics and and inform him on my dissatisfaction. He assures me, management will be reaching out to me. Ok cool. Well I give it till late Friday (Aug 28th) for that to happen. Still nothing, so now the world gets this review. Avoid this hotel at all costs. I understand you get what you pay for but jesus christ. Also, Tell me why the "security deposit" that I had to pay ($75) wasn't processed until Thursday? La Quinta and Wyndham will never see another dime from me. This was an absolute joke of a stay.
Great location !!
No complaints
Wry dirty. Stayed 10 days and the maids never came. Hallways are mouldering and smelled, room has black mold and many things not working. Whole place reeks of weed and milder. Guy at the front desk is very nice. But I had to wait in line 30 minutes overtime I need to get the card fixed again. Happens a lot as the door looks are old buds are very stained and have no cover. No maid service in 9 days
Easy access from I285. Needs major renovations to the entire hotel. Staff lacking in training. Check in procedure could be improve to allow a faster check in.
The gentleman working the front desk when we checked in was awesome. Very polite and thoughtful.
The hotel was in desperate need of a renovation. Our room had stained carpets and the door had a big gap in it when closed.
Great location if you’re going to a brakes game
Facilities were very unclean. Staff was very unhelpful gave me the wrong room at check-in and it was an occupied room made the situation very uncomfortable.
Everything
Nothing
The surrounding area
Front desk, room, building.
Very comfortable
Nothing
Would absolutely not recommend this hotel. We were 30 minutes away from the hotel after driving 5 hours, just to get an email stating our reservation was canceled. So I called the hotel which took over 20 minutes to talk to a real person, just to be told they were over booked so they cancelled my reservation and there was nothing I could do.
