Same great accommodation just needs improvement in the food and kitchen department !
Pros:

A group of us have been staying at the Bell for 10 or more years, always very clean and comfortable ideal location for riding the Enduro bikes, rear car park for the van parking and unloading works well.

Cons:

Food ! Waited nearly an hour for steaks ,all overcooked, did comment to the waitress but at 9.10pm and starving after the afternoon ride just got on and ate them, chips greasy, no greenery, peas, salad garnish etc.The breakfast, bacon undercooked, mushrooms raw! didn't make a fuss we were in a hurry. Previous Owners of the Bell had it full every time we stayed, the restaurant was always packed with locals,I think that says something about the food !

Excellent stay dog friendly

Everything from the moment we entered the property very friendly and welcoming our first stay there won't be our last rooms clean and comfortable and food excellent

Very welcoming, great food, a real hidden gem!
Pros:

Such an amazing welcome, table for our evening meal all ready for us after settling in our room.
Evening meal was lovely, and breakfast!
Steve was telling us, he used to be a butcher and only buys the best quality meat, which is evident in the taste! All aspects of The Bell country inn was spotless;
a real gem of a find! We will visit again!

Cons:

The welcome, the food and the cleanliness! Bed was also very comfortable.

Nice property but hard bed let it down.
Pros:

Beautiful spacious clean room. Excellent clean and bright bathroom. Very helpful staff in bar and restaurant in evening. Very pretty, easy to find location with great parking.

Cons:

Laminate wood flooring which creaked alot, shower leaked on to floor as shower panel had no seal at the bottom. Breakfast was included but as the cook was the only staff member on, service was a bit haphazard. Biggest issue by far though was the bed was extremely hard. I was glad I only was booked for one night which was very disappointing as the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

Great Place to Stay
Pros:

Steve was most welcoming! It was 33degrees outside and he managed to find us an air conditioning unit which was a life saver! Lovely place to stay and fresh home-cooked food.

Cons:

Flies, they were everywhere both inside and out! Couldn't be helped as in the middle of the countryside! Outside there was a distinct smell of muck spreading/pigs - Not the fault of the Inn at all!

Pros:

Steve the manager couldn't do enough for us, He was an excellent host 😊 He even collected us from the bowls club as we couldn't get a taxi . He went that little bit extra 😊 The food was excellent 😊
