Pros:

Comfortable bed. Clean room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. The room had everything we needed.

Cons:

The village was a little bit outside of Poole town but we knew that anyway.

Hidden gem
Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable loved the additional extra thought of filter coffee and fresh milk. Breakfast was 10/10 hosts were thoughtful and attentive couldn't fault

Perfect in every way…recommend it to anyone doing a channel crossing from Poole which is only 10 minutes away

Helped us out last minute, super comfy bed!!
Pros:

We booked a room at 10pm because a festival we were staying at locally had a massive fire and we had to leave. We were so grateful that they accommodated us so quickly and the staff were amazing when we checked in at the pub! Thank you!

Très bien, correspond à ce que nous cherchions
Pros:

Confortable, chambre spacieuses, déco sympa, propre, restaurant sur place et place de parking, tout ce que nous cherchions

Cons:

Nous n'avons pas pu prendre le petit déjeuné puisque nous partions trop tôt pour prendre le Ferry mais il était compté dans le prix de la chambre, donc nous l'avons payé. Nous aurions apprécié qu'on nous fasse un prix au moins sur le repas du soir.

A very enjoyable short break in a lovely country pub.
Pros:

The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable with all amenities. The restaurant was also spotlessly clean with a varied menu to suit all tastes. The food was well cooked and tasty. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Convenient and comfortable
Pros:

Location, lovely decor and quiet room. Very clean. Lovely biscuits
Lovely bacon sandwich in loo of breakfast
Quaint country pub

Cons:

I couldn’t get the tv or kettle to work properly but left it too late to report.
Seemed a bit expensive for a night in a country pub but I suppose supply and demand played a part.
Would stay again if I got a better deal.

Nice stopover
Pros:

Lovely room, beautifully presented, real milk available for morning tea. Nice pub with good food. Didn’t get to try the breakfast as we were staying to catch the early ferry from Poole.

Pros:

The property was well maintained and clean. The room was well presented and modern. Having a fridge available in the corridor with fresh milk and bottles of water was a nice idea.
The food in bar was freshly made and tasted wonderful. Lots of choice
Breakfast was also freshly prepared with hot and cold choices available
All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

For the price we paid, I thought the room would have been a bit bigger.
The WiFi signal was terrible and when it did work, it would only work for 5 minutes and then drop out.
