Eventjes Keizerin zijn!
Pros:

De historie voel je overal. Met heel veel liefde op fantastische wijze tot hotel gemaakt. Erg goed onderhouden. Locatie is een droom, dat heeft keizerin Vicky goed gekozen. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Cons:

Na een dubbele upgrade zelf betaald te hebben vond ik het kleine dakkamertje wel erg intiem. Ook klein badkamertje. Sfeervol gedecoreerd, maar had voor die prijs echt een mooiere kamer verwacht. Ook ontbreken koffie en thee faciliteiten. Dat is gewoon een must in een 5 sterren huis en al helemaal wanneer je het Britse gevoel wilt koesteren.

Pros:

El lugar es de sueño. La historia del castillo también. El desayuno muy bueno y ambos restoranes excelentes. Tiene muy buena conectividad también.

Cons:

Detalle muy menor. En el restaurante principal, que era una salón señorial con chimenea a la hora de comida la música era de relleno de supermercado. Es bien fácil arreglar eso.

Vom Empfang bis zur Verabschiedung, es war einfach ein perfekter Aufenthalt! Ein grosses Merci an die Küchenbrigade welche hervorragend gekocht hat! Das Schloss liegt eungebettet in einem wunderschönen Park! Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und man fühlt sich von der ersten Sekunde an willkommen! Ein ganz besonderer Ort, in einem alten Schloss, ein herrlicher Park – wir erlebten die Rhododendren in voller Blüte, einfach traumhaft! Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist hervorragend.

Cons:

Was den Aufenthalt wirklich ruiniert hat: Der Teppichboden in den Zimmern war alt und teilweise fleckig. Wir bekamen zunächst Zimmer 103 mit einem sehr kleinen, schmalen Bett (es wurde als Doppelbett verkauft). Wir baten um einen Zimmerwechsel und erhielten Zimmer 301 mit einem großen, breiten Bett. Doch auch dort war der Teppichboden in einem schrecklichen, fleckig. Das Zimmer, in dem wir übernachteten, roch unangenehm (etwas nach Medizin, wie gegen Motten). Ich konnte nicht schlafen und öffnete ständig das Fenster.
