All room rates include daily unlimited access to the hotel spa's indoor and outdoor thermal circuit (please check the hotel's website for the spa's current opening hours).

The rates for stays on a basic B&B or half-board basis on December 31st include a mandatory fee for the evening gala dinner. Similarly, the Christmas Eve Gala Dinner is mandatory for stays on a half-board basis on December 24th. Starting at 18:30, sportswear and sports/beach footwear are not permitted in the bars and restaurants.

The Dress Code in Restaurants is: Long trousers are mandatory for gentlemen during dinner. The Dress Code for the December 24th Gala Dinner is: Jacket and tie are required. The Dress Code for New Year's Eve on December 31st is as follows: The black tie is required.

Pokud si chcete užít opravdický luxus a hýčkání -vřele doporučuji. 👌

Krásné místo , pokoj, zahrada, hotový ráj, pestrá nabídka k snídani, kuchyně 9/10

Cons:

Snad jen věkový limit pro využití SPA , 16 let se mi zdá moc. Stačil by limit 14 let -podle mého názoru.
Paní kadeřnice hovoří jen španělsky.
A nemají moc dobrou kávu k snídani, ani servírovanou ani z automatu.

Pros:

Beautiful grounds and gardens. Excellent valet parking (doormen are to be complimented) Stylish, spacious room. We were fortunate to have a lovely view, very quiet neighbours and some late afternoon sun. Superb and extremely attentive housekeeping. Lovely pools and spa. Excellent breakfast in a bright space, felt rather busy at times. Staff are helpful and friendly. Pleasant bar lounge with enjoyable entertainment aimed at mature guests. We enjoyed our stay and will no doubt return.

Cons:

Storage area/dressing room lacking shelves and drawers for shirts, undies, small items. Not truly convenient for unpacking/packing.
The beautiful spa garden needs dedicated pool attendant. Service here not consistent with 5 star GL. Loungers were reserved all day long, occupied or not. Far too few umbrellas (many defect) No attendant for help with loungers, sun umbrellas etc. Inconsiderate guests smoking, loud telephone calls etc. Sadly no checks on this behaviour. A pity.

Hotel ideal para parejas, pero no para familias con niños

El personal del hotel y de los restaurantes fueron muy amables y serviciales. La comida de todos los restaurantes fue buena y de calidad.

Cons:

No es un hotel para familias. En la web hay un apartado dedicado a familias, pero esas actividades que se ofrecen sólo son en días puntuales como carnaval o halloween, el resto de días, no hay absolutamente nada para los niños. La piscina interior, al pertenecer al spa, sólo pueden acceder adultos. Las otras piscinas exteriores, a pesar de estar climatizadas, si llueve no hay otra opción para los niños. La piscina que catalogan como infantil, es más una charca de 50cm de espesor, más para bebés que para niños.

Es war wunderschön! Sauber, gepflegt, schick… Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Leider erinnere ich mich nicht an alle Namen, aber die zwei Männer am Empfang - Anthonio und sein Kollege, sowie auch die Damen an der Rezeption, besonders Sara, als auch der Herr an der Bar und die SPA Belegschaft, waren überaus freundlich und engagiert, unseren Aufenthalt einzigartig zu machen… Alles in allem, Perfekt

A Spiritual Realm on my grieving journey.

I felt I was stepping into a 1950’s movie a beautiful old school traditional feel but you could also be in Thailand. The building has a life of its own and is beautifully laid out. There is a strong Far Eastern influence.

Entspannung und Genuss in einmaliger Anlage
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt in einer liebevoll gepflegten Parkanlage. Der Service ist aussergewöhnlich, die Zimmer komfortabel eingerichtet, unseres allerdings nicht allzu gross. In verschiedenen Restaurants werden spanische, italienische und asiatische Spezialitäten angeboten und das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Zwei geheizte Aussenpools und eine grosszügige Spa-Anlage runden das Angebot ab. Das Zentrum von Puerto de la Cruz ist zu Fuss in ca. 15-20 Minuten erreichbar, aber es steht auch ein Shuttle-Bus bereit.

Cons:

Eigentlich nichts. Die Musik in der Bar ist Geschmackssache.

Great hotel
Pros:

Our second visit here, from the arrival and reception to checking out you feel a valued customer, unbelievable cleanliness, the room has been updated since our last visit and was clean and comfortable (however please let us cool the rooms on a night and have better control over the aircon)
Breakfasts were good, high quality food and lots of choice, great friendly staff)
We always ate out but the restaurants look good and busy.
Highly recommend a stay here

All great - except for the aircon.
Pros:

Agree with an earlier review by Gary B. Doesn't make sense that a hotel of this calibre with a "state of the art" aircon system doesn't switch it on in winter.
The 3 restaurants were all good but difficult to get into - so book online in advance if you can. Also, the earlier you book the better the table (as perceived by the restaurant - in the Oriental, that seemed to be the case).
Given 4 stars as the positives far outweigh the negatives. Housekeeping and Room Service are great. Pools (particularly Spa) are fantastic. Gives the sense of opulence and luxury.

Bathroom was great and well equipped. The gardens were superb, well kept. The breakfast was exceptional - most comprehensive buffet ever! Staff were helpful and friendly. Free bus service to the town provided by the hotel.

A fantastic hotel
Pros:

A fantastic hotel, with a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Nice rooms. A great pool area and spa, and very good restaurants. This was our second stay, it was as good this time as it was three years ago. We will return.
