Dan Tel Aviv Hotel

The hotel building is old. The interior design in the public space is outdated and there is a lowered ceiling that appears to date back to the hotel's founding. When I visited the lounge, there was a family where only the father of the family paid for the lounge. The father took food out of the lounge at the children's request, while he went back and forth to the buffet and loaded it with whatever came his way. The lounge employee refused to tell them that it is forbidden to take food and drinks out of the lounge, especially when it involves theft. There is dampness on the ceiling. The mattress is filthy. The stairs at the front of the hotel are neglected.

Dan Tel Aviv was a great experience during a tough moment. Even with missles overhead, I felt safe and well cared for in this beautiful hotel. The staff were exceptional in helping me understand where to go when there was a red alert and helping in other ways. Marina, Jeremy Dery and Hadi in particular went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and felt safe. Five thumbs up for making the best out of a tricky time. I will certainly be back when hopefully this conflict is over. The location of the hotel was right across from the beautiful Tel Aviv beach!

During your travels it is very rare to be stopped in your tracks by someone who not only changes the experience but enriches your life. Malek, the assistant restaurant manager at the premier dining room, Hayarkon 99 at the Dan Hotel Tel Aviv, is just that person. Our stay in Tel Aviv was interrupted by the breakout of the March 2026 Iranian war: our plans were uncertain, we were fearful and many guests had left the hotel early to return to their homes - though we were not able to do so. We had frequent missile alerts and bomb shelter visits. Amid the chaos outside, Malek made sure the dining room was a calm, quiet and soothing respite, giving us not just extraordinary service but also personal attention and support when we needed it most. 

Despite the war and significantly reduced staff, the food and drinks were extraordinary - fresh, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. And the views of the beach - particularly at sunset - are breathtaking. We can’t recommend it enough, and be sure you ask for Malek, a most special and caring person whom we are now honored to call our friend.

Highest level of service and care, even during a period of conflict. Hotel staff were amazing and provided all that we needed, including guidance on safety concerns. Thank you especially to hotel manager Jeremy whose expertise and professionalism were unparalleled.

Jeremy was amazing! He really helped my wife and I cope with the stress of the war. Jeremy was extremely friendly, went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He was fantastic. Thanks!

We had a great time at the Dan! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Our rooms were super nice and spacious. Everything was clean. Very quiet. The Dan is in a great location with beautiful views from the dining room of the ocean. The food was very good and the meals were great and varied. With war looming, the management was very reassuring. Jeremy Dery was outstanding. He personally came to check on us multiple times, giving us updates and reassuring us that he would sort out rooms for us if we had to stay. He was friendly and warm and just an amazing person. We felt so taken care of! Saloom in guest relations was also lovely. He helped us with whatever we needed and tracked down newspapers for us on Shabbat morning. I highly recommend the Dan and especially their staff. We look forward to coming back!

The experience was amazing! The room was one of the best i've ever been with a wonderful view on the beach. The location is great! Breakfast was very good and had a lot of option. I would definitely recommend !

I stayed in this hotel during the war and all got simply perfect. The shelter looked great and clean, I met the manager which was very calm. Good to know that in hard times, all is managed so well!

The hotel is in Tel Aviv opposite Frishman Beach. The hotel is beautiful with great staff who just want to help.

We arrived last night and had a very nice room. However, with building works outside we were woken early. We spoke Jeremy - the Guests Relations Manager - who could not have been more friendly and helpful. He arrange for us to move to another room on the opposite side of the hotel. He also upgraded us for the disturbed sleep. He was so accommodating and could not have done more to help.

Our first time staying here but certainly won’t be our last.

The service was absolutely amazing from start to finish. A special shoutout to Jeremy, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcomed throughout the entire experience.
