Fabulous setting for an afternoon tea. I live in London, and this is hands down the best tea experience I’ve ever had. Our waitress Thuli was delightful and so helpful. Be sure to try the pink fizz! I hope to come back again soon 🥰

We had a great time having high tea at the Mount Nelson. Craig was so knowledgeable about all of the different teas of which they had a huge selection, and Thuli, our waitress, was excellent! She was very attentive and sweet. The food was also exceptional - you definitely won’t leave hungry! Absolutely worth the visit.

We were visiting from Jamaica and were advised that High Tea in South Africa is a must. We were not disappointed. Our server ( or rather our Dining Guide) Miss Aphiwe, explained everything to us as each course arrived. What a delightful experience! I highly recommend High Tea at Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town, S.A. Worth every penny!
The high tea is always exceptional but staff at the planet bar are the sweetest and most attentive on the property.
We had a wonderful experience at Mount Nelson and truly enjoyed the high tea. Everything felt cozy and well-prepared, from the tea selection to the delicious pastries and sandwiches.
What made our visit especially memorable was the service. Our waitress, Thuli, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. She made us feel very welcome and ensured that everything was perfect throughout our visit.
