We did the afternoon tea. Our waitress Thabisa was welcoming and very knowledgeable. She made the experience all the better. The food was excellent and the drinks were great.

A special thank you to Asanda, who made our High Tea experience a memorable one. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality added a personal touch that made the afternoon feel extra special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a classic Cape Town experience.
Great atmosphere, experience and incredible staff.
The food for the high tea didn’t feel like a 5 stars experience however, with most dessert not feeling like homemade.
The bottomless tea and coffee was a plus!

We had the most wonderful afternoon tea experience at Mount Nelson. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional.
A special thank you to Thuli, our hostess, who was incredibly attentive, warm, and knowledgeable throughout the afternoon. She made us feel so welcome and enhanced the entire experience with her excellent service and attention to detail.
The pianist was absolutely amazing and created the perfect atmosphere. The live music added such a special touch and made the afternoon feel truly elegant and memorable. (Especially playing our first dance song by Lionel was a beautiful touch given we are on honeymoon)
The food was incredible, beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. And the tea selection was simply divine, with so many wonderful varieties to enjoy.
Overall, we had the best time and would highly recommend the Mount Nelson Afternoon Tea experience. It’s a truly special treat, made even better by the outstanding staff and ambiance. We can’t wait to return!
Wonderful experience, high tea was amazing, Thuli and Craig were very knowledgeable and helpful.
The hotel was amazingly located with grand decor in an old school sort of vibe. The grounds had beautiful gardens, and the rooms were well appointed.The staff was amazing and well trained in all levels of staffing. The place was immaculate, and the rooms were well maintained as were the common areas. The bar in the small dish eating there was wonderful. The dessert Baker was amazing creating masterpieces. The assistant manager VuVu was excellent at her job.
High Tea with the family is a 5 star experience. Location, food, atmosphere ( loved the piano live music) all is perfect and we were hosted by Andiswa what is an added extra 5 star 🙂.

Each course was thoughtfully explained, and the selection of unlimited teas was exceptional. The service was outstanding, and the ambiance was elegant and relaxing.
