Very friendly staff and old world style. Nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms. Housekeeping was very attentive.
I would prefer more amenities. A dedicated spa with a pool and hot tub. A gym with more equipment. Large enough for a few more weightlifting machines.
The extraordinary service from the doormen, butler service, in-room service, front desk, and concierge. They made sure we were satisfied and addressed any concerns we had quickly and over and beyond. I only had a small issue with housekeeping and they showered us with gifts that were not necessary but appreciated. The constant attention to our needs as we entered the building and when we left.
The hostess for the restaurant is not genuine in how she treats guest. When I arrive at any hotel, I orient myself and look around on my own. I did it here although the front desk did a small "tour" with us when we arrived. As my husband and I stepped up to the restaurant area, she quickly approached me as if we were out of place. I told her we had just arrived and I wanted to look around. I pointed out the ball room and she showed me the party rooms and "library area". Afterwards, I thanked her and we headed to our room. She followed us to the elevator and then asked me what our room number was. Where do they behave this way?! I told her we had just arrived. Did she assume we didn't belong because we didn't look like others who stayed there?
Then, two days later, my husband and I walked over to the library area and one of the attendants was coming towards me but I changed my mind and we left but before we could return to the restaurant area, the "library" attendant ran to the same restaurant hostess and was pointing at us and they were laughing. It's obvious the hostess must have been sharing her cultural, judgmental ignorance with others with the same character flaw. My recommendation is to make sure she and others understand judging others from the outside is not good for the business. Anyone who stays at this hotel obviously belongs. If I return to Rome, I won't stay here.
I also did not like how housekeeping could not just stick to cleaning and not moving or taking items that didn't belong to the hotel. I had my shoe inserts and personal washcloths taken and both were placed on the counter and end table instead of the floor. The hotel gave us gifts that included wooden shoe inserts, personally engraved washcloths, and a free appetizer to the restaurant I wasn't going to visit because of the judgmental hostess.
Pulizia , gentilezza e servizio
A volte personale troppo invadente , cena al ristorante interno non all’altezza del posto
Dorucak ok,lokacija osrednja.
Osoblje za ovaj lanac hotela bi trebalo biti bolje
Great interior just amazing no words and very good breakfast !
An exceptional luxury experience from start to finish. Every detail of this hotel reflects elegance, quality, and impeccable taste. The room was beautifully appointed, spacious, and immaculately maintained, with premium furnishings and a level of comfort that makes it hard to leave.
The service is truly world-class—discreet, attentive, and effortlessly professional. Staff anticipated needs before they were even mentioned, creating a seamless and personalized stay. Special thanks to Louise, Karolina, Pietro, Cristiano, Pasquale, Salvatore, all of the wonderful men and women at the Lumen, and the outside staff who welcome me back every year and make me feel part of the family. Mr. DeMartino does a wonderful job of leading this amazing team.
From the sophisticated ambiance to the flawless execution of every detail, this hotel sets a benchmark for luxury hospitality. A truly memorable stay that always exceeds expectations, and one I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a refined experience.
I can't wait to return to Bella Roma and the beautiful St. Regis.
Everything
Nothing all great
This hotel is ridiculously beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfy. Super helpful staff. Worth every penny. We spent New Year’s Eve there. It was over the top. Would highly recommend.
Another great stay at the St Regis in Rome. The staff are warm and helpful and made my stay feel like home.
I appreciate the exceptional standard and luxury for which the St Regis is synonymous with, but what truly distinguishes this property is its people. From the moment of arrival, the staff radiate warmth and professionalism. It started when the bellboy /doorman welcoming me by name (which he confessed he read on my luggage tag) was a very nice touch. Each interaction felt thoughtful and personal creating refined and sincerely hospitable service.
The warm and friendly dining service staff was perfect blend of attentive without ever being intrusive.
Chiara and Daniel at checkout were wonderful in ensuring that my stay ended on the same high note it started.
For me, The St. Regis Roma is not just a beautiful place to stay, it is also a place where exceptional service and warm, human connections elevate the entire experience to be deeply memorable.
