The amenities
I stayed here with my elderly mother . We arrived around 4am and the welcome we received by the lady receptionist was not pleasant! She was dismissive and rude . Seemed to be all over the place . First she demanded for a full payment of the 2 nights when I already paid in advance then she proceeded to ask for security payment of 600 Ringgit , I again explained we were not aware then she lost it , resulted to yelling at us and seemingly agitated and frustrated that we did not submit to her commands . We just stood there puzzled and shaken considering we were so tired after the flight from Perth. She then got the manager at our request who was a gentleman. de- escalated the situation and handled it very well and that’s top tier customer service . He deserves to be a manager at such a high branded hotel . Otherwise , the hotel itself , other staff and the location were good .
We chose to celebrate our daughter during Ramadhan at Essence, Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful family evenings we’ve had.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — perfect for a meaningful Ramadhan gathering. What truly amazed us was the incredible variety of food. We were genuinely spoilt for choice. The kerabu was fresh and bursting with flavor, the ribs were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the spread was simply impressive. From Japanese to Western, Malaysian to Chinese cuisine — every station offered something special. It felt like a culinary journey all in one place.
For the price, it is honestly very affordable considering the quality, taste, and wide selection. It’s rare to find such a generous spread that delivers both in flavor and value.
Most importantly, the team made our celebration unforgettable. Thivan, Randi, Taufik, Intan, and Rishon went above and beyond to make our daughter feel special. Their warmth, attentiveness, and sincere hospitality turned a simple buffet into a precious family memory.
Thank you for giving us not just a meal, but a moment we will always remember. Highly recommended for families looking for a meaningful Ramadhan experience

Everything was so gooooddddddd… The staff are so friendly esp Thiran, Randi, Taufik, Intan and Rishan and they are very helpful! Hope to come again.
We selected a King Room with lounge access for our stay at the Sheraton Imperial. The room was well appointed, clean and modern. The view from the 37th floor was excellent. The lounge on the 38th floor was a real treat with fine canapés and drinks available after 5.00pm, as well as a really good breakfast. The lounge staff were always polite and helpful, which made our stay that much better, special shoutout to Ty Vui Chung who always had a smile when giving great service. The check in/checkout was prompt and professional with friendly staff always wanting to help. A very small point is the pool area, whilst very big is lacking in some maintenance with the green overhead covers looking a bit weathered. Still no biggie as the pool itself was a great place to relax. The Sheraton Imperial is very close to the KL Rapid monorail and underground so moving around KL was very easy and so inexpensive. No need for taxis as the KL traffic is horrendously busy. Thoroughly recommend this one.

A great retreat! Staff made the stay felt like i was at home. Hassan whom helped with my check in. Blitz fast and efficient. And upon check out Shella had made my stay worth the while asking me about the stay and made sure the aftercare was in place. Great team, great place!
