Solid central hotel
Pros:

Perfectly central, classic grand central business hotel with the facilities you’d expect. The room was comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast in the restaurant.

Cons:

We booked a room advertised on Booking.com as having “two single beds” (that’s still the case at the time of this review), but checked in to find a double. When we went downstairs to ask to change, the receptionist was initially wanting to argue to toss. Eventually swapped us for a twin with, inevitably, older decor and a glorious view on to the a/c ducts in the inner courtyard.

Très beau palace au charme d'antan
Pros:

Très beau palace au charme d'antan, avec des colonnes en marbre et des lustres magnifiques.
Situation en plein cœur de la ville et à proximité immédiate du boulevard Vitosha animé de bars, restaurants et boutiques.
Confort et propreté des chambres, bonne literie, produits de toilette de haute qualité (marque Clarins).
Métro et tram juste à côté de l'hôtel. Facilité d'accès depuis l'aéroport.
J'avais demandé une chambre située aux étages supérieurs et loin des ascenseurs pour être au calme. Ma demande a été respectée et nous avons même eu droit à une chambre avec une superbe vue sur la cathédrale !!
Merci beaucoup, nous avons passé un très bon séjour !

Cons:

Buffet du petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix mais produits plutôt basiques.
Les plats chauds étaient quasiment froids et manquaient d'assaisonnement. Les oeufs au plat étaient trop cuits, de même que les viennoiseries.
Par rapport au standing de l'hôtel, je m'attendais à un meilleur petit déjeuner.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Sofia
Pros:

Our stay was excellent overall. The only issue we experienced was on the first night, as our room was not ready upon arrival. However, Ms. Anastasia handled the situation quickly and professionally, and the problem was resolved without delay. We would especially like to thank her for her kindness and efficient support.

The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the Kaan from reception and also other staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would gladly stay here again.

The location is good as central to everything.

Cons:

On arrival the room had a smell coming from the shower, I reported this to the desk, slightly dismissive until I said then move me to another room. They sent maintenance and flushed the shower. The smell faded and after a while dissipated but I had to flush the shower two days later after returning from a trip and I had to revalidation my room card 3 times during my stay. Breakfast states served between 7-11am. On my last day I came down for breakfast at 10:25 and the team were removing breakfast from the counters. If times correct as advertised keep to them. I was told to be quick! Housekeeping did not service my room for two daily during my 5 might stay.
