Pros:

Perfectly located, great clean hotel, perfect breakfast and staff was amazing, will for sure stay there again.

Pros:

O edifício é lindíssimo! A localização é fantástica! Mesmo no centro, perto de todas as “atrações”, museus, ruínas, monumentos, restaurantes etc.
Os quartos são grandes, modernos e muito bem equipados.

Cons:

O restaurante só serve pequenos almoços, as zonas comuns estão mal mantidas, e o ginásio é uma suite transformada no dito (mas com tudo o que é necessário).
Falta-lhe o glamour que deve ter tido noutros tempos em que terá sido um verdadeiro 5 estrelas.

Отличный отель в центре Софии
Pros:

Отличный отель в самом центре Софии, очень красивый классический интерьер. Большие номера, чисто, удобная кровать. В номере халаты и тапки, уход от Кларанс. Великолепные завтраки. Особенно хочу отметить прекрасный персонал, давно не встречала такого прекрасного отношения к гостям. Однозначно рекомендую.

Great hotel, shame about the guests.
Pros:

Good hotel in central Sofia. I was upgraded to a suite (by Booking.com) and this was a good room (not quite a suite, just a sofa at the bottom of the bed and a slightly larger room). The hotel was comfortable and staff were very pleasant and attentive. I was also upgraded to a free breakfast, this was fantastic, can’t be faulted. Staff at breakfast were very good. I didn’t use any other facilities so can’t comment. I generally avoid hotels as facilities are better in apartments, however this was ok.

Cons:

The guests! Generally I don’t have much to do with other guests in hotels as I prefer to explore the locality around the hotel for food. However I had breakfast in this hotel. The guests here seemed incredibly rude to the staff. Example, the coffee machines all shut down (don’t know why, and neither did the waiting staff) the behaviour of some guests while this happened was shameful! Constantly complaining and harassing the staff. The machines were working again within 5 min, some still complaining when they were back working. This is just one example of many I observed. Yes it is a high end hotel, but no need to be rude to staff that can’t speak back due to having a job. It reminded me why I avoid this type of establishment. I have stayed in hotels like this all over the world as I travel for work with them often booking expensive hotels. The guests here seemed to have gone to another level of rudeness. I also struggle when seeing guests walking around reception in just dressing gowns…

Magnifico
Pros:

Hotel excelente num edificio majestoso, interiores forrados a mármore, quarto, cama, banheiro excelentes. Ofereceram café da manhã, por sinal ótimo.

Cons:

Um hotel tão magnifico merecia ter uma parte de SPA.
Na sala de jantar tinha uma goteira no meio da sala.
