Pros:

Property and our stay were great.

Cons:

Everything was wonderful - Only issue was upon leaving one of the valet guys decided to flip off myself and two young granddaughters as we pulled out.

A fine hotel in an excellent location.
Pros:

The quality of the room and the service was excellent. I particularly appreciated the help from a concierge named Malia Hurtado. My only disappointment was that they do not have 24 room service.

Sad rooms but even sadder service
Pros:

Expected so much more from this hotel. Bathrooms are not functional. Air conditioning unit kept me awake throughout the night. Quality of the room was disappointing, however the most disappointing aspect of the hotel was my interaction with Ruben at the front office. When I asked if I could view a meeting room I was told that I could rent the room and then see it. I had planned to have a family reunion there but not now. Perhaps the meeting room is in a similar condition to the sleeping rooms and he was too ashamed to have me see the room or perhaps he was having a bad day.

Historical Tour
Pros:

We went on a historical tour for the hotel and it was amazing. The green goddess recipe is wonderful. The food included in the tour is delightful.

Wonderful
Pros:

Great stay, love this hotel, the staff is wonderful, housekeeping is perfect, shout out to Doorman ,Jorge Treso, as I watched him handle an extremely self entitled guest parking his car. He calmly asked the guy to pull up and the guy exploded on him, Jorge calmly handled the situation.

Great hotel
Pros:

Overall very nice hotel, great restaurant and comfortable rooms. It’s in a great location in SF and had a lot of great restaurants nearby. Valet was a bit of an issue - and the morning of my departure the valet did not show up to work which led to a very long wait.

Perfect end to our wonderful vacation

We were on a seventeen day cruise of Hawaii aboard the Ruby Princess, sailing from San Francisco back to San Francisco, and decided to spend a few days after our cruise at the Palace Hotel. It was one of the best decisions we made on this trip.

I truly wish I had gotten the name of the receptionist who checked us in, because he deserves special recognition. He was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had to leave our cruise ship very early, so we arrived at the hotel around 8 am. I had just gotten my two girls, who are six and seven, out of bed, brushed their teeth, and put them straight into an Uber. We were exhausted.

I was quietly hoping and praying for an early check in, and he made it happen. That simple act meant everything to us. My girls were able to nap for a few hours as soon as we got to the room, and when they woke up, they were refreshed and ready to explore the city. It completely changed the tone of our stay and set us up for a wonderful few days.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The architecture and atmosphere feel elegant, warm, and timeless. The location is perfect and very central. We walked everywhere, especially to my favorite place, Chinatown. We walked there every single day and loved being able to do so easily.

The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly and kind. The housekeeping team in particular stood out. They always greeted us with genuine warmth and smiles, which made us feel truly welcomed and cared for.

Our room was very clean, extremely comfortable, and surprisingly large, which made traveling with two kids feel relaxed rather than cramped. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained and inviting.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Palace Hotel and left feeling rested, happy, and grateful. We will absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and well located place to stay in San Francisco.

Propreté irréprochable.

Manque de Wifi au début du séjour (lié au Power Outtage)
Un ascenseur sur 3, un peu compliqué aux heures de pointe
Couloirs un peu bruyants à cause du manque de respect des voyageurs
