Everything was perfect, we had a great experience

No parking available, only valet and was full.
Location and premium room decor, the staff were also exceptional
The Sauna was out of order and the hair dryer and iron were really cheap products, the iron actually burnt my shirt despite it being on a medium to high setting
There was no soap for the bath there was a bottle stuck in shower but none provided for bath and we thought we upgraded to a balcony also as I mentioned it was my husbands 50th I was asked his name for a card and even though I gave his name they address the card to me but it wasn’t it’s not the stay was bad just not what I expected for such a high market place we ended up leaving by 6am
Great location and helpful staff
Breakfast is good, location too.
I booked a room for 3 persons and upon arrival there was only one king bed in the room. When we asked about the extra bed, they charged us extra AUD60 stating that we booked a “King bedroom”. One of two things: the hotel assumed we all three would sleep in one king bed, or they really did not care about the third person (because upon arrival and after cleaning, there were always only two towels and we had to ask for a third one everyday).
We travel a lot as 3 and never experienced an extra costa having already booked for three people. The hotel staff answered us like a machine, saying only “sorry”
And “you booked a king room”. When Insaid they should then include the extra cost already in the booking bost, they blamed booking.com, as I expected they would answer.
Aditionally, we has a friend for one day for breakfast, which we booked in advance for 35 dollars, as the cost without booking was 45. Upon checkout they charged me both! Of course one of them was cancelled but if I did not check the bill
I would have laud two for one.
Poor service, poor communication, zero flexibility and also old building.
I had asked them to accommodate for our anniversary to which they did wonderfully. Much appreciated
