A Solid Brisbane Option
Pros:

We have stayed 3 times in 2025, with 2 visits included executive lounge access.

Overall, this a solid hotel. The Lounge is decent however it can struggle during peak times. The room is clean and comfortable; the staff are always helpful, cheerful and some even remembered us from previous stays. One of our stays was over the Christmas public holidays where they did struggle with handling the volume of people for breakfast and had access to the lounge, which is a little understandable as I am sure they have reduced staffing on these days. Nothing major, but it was frustrating at times that you couldn’t access hotel benefits (the lounge was at compacity) that you are entitled to. I will be returning to the hotel in 2026, so the frustration was not a deal breaker for myself but it was certainly annoying at the time when you just want to relax whilst having some canapes and drinks.

I shall be back. The staff are wonderful so polite and attentive. Very clean and comfortable.

A delightful 3 days
Pros:

Check in: we arrived very early due to our flight and were able to get a room right away. They even upgraded our room due to our gold status.

Room: well appointed, nice bathroom with shower and a tub. The room had a chaise as well as a king bed and we had a partial view of the river. It had a mini fridge where you could put your own food and liquids. The room air was at a good temperature and well regulated.

The pool: it is well kept, nice setting, lots of towels. The only negative was the hot tub wasn't hot.

Staff: the front desk staff was great! They printed our luggage tickets that Qantas asked be old school paper. We needed some ice for my wife's back and the bar staff was so friendly and helpful and declined the tip I wanted to give them. So very different from North America!

Excellent location. Close to river front and boardwalk as well as the ferry. Lots of restaurants nearby. Special mention to Le Bon Choix for cappuccinos and pains au chocolat in the morning. 4 minutes away!
