Stayed there a few times and will be back.
Pros:

Very easy to reach from motorway network yet feels like a peaceful rural setting. Ample parking, welcoming staff, comfortable room and good food. The breakfast buffet is exceptional.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.

Not sure whether I would choose the hotel again - maybe try another in the area
Pros:

I liked the surroundings the hotel was located in
Staff were friendly
Hotel was spotlessly clean

Cons:

I went to work in the downstairs bar throughout the day admittedly it was closed but there was no heating it was freezing cold

Also on the last night of the stay the room / area above our room was so noisy constant pacing of the floor neither of us slept that night

beautiful views, excellent restaurant and wonderful team.
Pros:

Lovely property , with a golf course . The views were really nice. It was a beautiful sunny day and this just made it all the more better. Rooms were large and nicely laid out. It was quite and very comfortable.
The 12 pm checkout also is a brilliant little help, especially if you have a late night.
The check in team, were brilliant. This was a last minute booking and yet they made sure our rooms were ready and helped quite promptly when we needed some extra bedding.
The restaurant onsite was amazing as well. Again the chef and team went out of their way when they were running low on some of the ingredients needed for some cocktails.
The food was absolutely brilliant. There were 5 of us, and every single one of us rated the food 9/10. Much larger portions than we thought it would be, perfectly cooked and the floor team were very helpful and sweet.

Cons:

It was a last minute booking we made due to some changes from a client I was travelling to meet. So really nothing to say that falls into ' what didn't you like' .

Needs a massive refurbishment!
Pros:

Property is very dated and unclean. Rooms feel pokey. We noticed lots of entry points where people were able to enter the hotel without security or staff monitoring the area. Eg, fire exits were left open. Made me feel very unsafe.

Cons:

Uncomfortable bed. Not enough pillows.
