A new favourite for great service and good family friendly facilities.
Pros:

Forest of Arden hotel came to the rescue when our original hotel (Albrighton Hall - Shewsbury) cancelled our booking on the day of arrival. I had remembered Forest of Arden from a previous work visit and although further out from the location we were visiting I decided to go somewhere I knew and could trust. The hotel found us a lovely room for three of us, very spacious and clean and very large comfortable bed and great value for money.
We had a nice lunch (the club sandwich was excellent) and breakfast the following morning.
The EV charging was also an added bonus.
Thank you Forest of Arden, the welcome from all the staff and the facilities such as the pool and the charging meant we were very happy.

Cons:

It’s a bit messy at breakfast, not the staff fault at all, they were working very hard, but I was surprised how some of the other guests left their tables, with food on the floor etc.

One of best place to stay in England :)
Pros:

I liked the location, staff, facilities especially Swimming pool, sauna etc. We really enjoyed Dinner for which Chef need some reward :) . Breakfast was also good. Overall it was a pleasant experience for our family and we will definitely come back soon.

Cons:

One of the staff member was little arrogant but I can understand she need to follow some rules and hotel policy. Otherwise, no complaints.

Enjoyable stay great golf course just the breakfast really poor!

Overpriced for the service we got
Pros:

Lovely location and beautiful grounds

Cons:

Noisy guests. Early check in not available despite them emailing before hand and they did not mention the charges.
They knew it was my wife’s birthday yet we were not offered any upgrades etc.

Really wnjoyable - had a great time with our children.
Pros:

Loved the golf course and views. Loved that we could easily charge the car and didn’t have to hunt anywhere to charge. The food was all really good.

Cons:

The rooms and some of the decor (around the stairwells) is quite tired. I was quite shocked there wasn’t a usb plug in the room (this seems very very outdated and is a simple fix). Staff did find me a plug though - my car key is my phone so I just assumed this would be a thing.

Comfortable stay as a family for a trip to the NEC
Pros:

The setting of the property is beautiful. The bar and restaurant were well ran and staff really friendly and helpful.
We accidentally left behind our coats in the wardrobe and the service for the return of our items from housekeeping was excellent! Really well located for the NEC if you want to stay a little further out.

Cons:

Pool was closed when we arrived so didn't have an opportunity to try this out which was a shame. Décor maybe a little bit dated but all still in good condition and well looked after. Amenities in room possibly could have more variety
