Pros:

Decent spa facilities for the price.
Scenery.
Massage and facial.

Cons:

Sauna could have done with a more fresher. Booking a massage should have been a more smoother experience, no one would pick up when called and I had to wait a few days to hear if there was space via email. Which I understand but when I’ve picked a get away specifically for those facilities and not knowing whether I can get in 1 day before reservation is a bit annoying.

The room felt like a pet had been in there, smelt like a dog. I believe if the hotel is pet friendly to have pets in a complete different area. As I have allergies and felt the presence of a pet who had previously been in the room

Not 4 star. VERY POOR
Pros:

Very robotic reception, no personality. Got to room....no aircon. Went to reception and they said only fan in that room for £189 per night!! Even budget hotels have room aircon. ( please note it doesn't mention aircon at all on booking. Com even tho some rooms have it and others don't) This needs addressing!! Asked for another room with aircon and it cost me £30 more. Shocking. Overall room cleanliness not brilliant with scuffs on walls. Holes in duvet cover....bed very uncomfortable. Dirty glassware at bar. Staff at reception on leaving didn't even ask how our stay was!!!! Very poor. £219 I paid and I feel robbed.
Breakfast was good to be fair.

Great hotel in wonderful setting. Would definitely return. Looked after our wedding party extremely well

Beautiful hotel and surroundings lovely staff comfy room very up market enjoyed a meal too also love how you can grab fresh water from water machine with ice in the Corridor

Back to the 90s bathroom, with Home Bargain touches everywhere. Dont waste your money.

Very dated bathroom with getting in for a shower dangerous
No heated towel rail
Cheap iron and ironing board
Lack of charging facilities - usb on a lamp ypu have to have switched on
One member of staff on reception at busy time "all on their break" was the reply
Half a toilet roll for 2 days, had to ask for more
Children screaminf directly outside my window i had to close it in 28 degrees ans shut the curtains
Poor quality toiletries dried your skin out
Dirty and cheap plastic shower head
Shower was awful, very very poor experience
Tea and coffee poor with cheap plastic kettle

Overall dated, poor quality and will never stay again
