Our nightstand lamp didn't work. The bed was flat and not at all comfortable. The ledge in shower was broken off on one end and hanging there so couldn't put shampoo or soap in it.
Why the extra charge for parking? The room alone was $269 and additional fee for parking? That's ridiculous!
How friendly and professional the staff was
Paid ten dollars for parking
Wonderful
So beautiful, looks so fancy and we felt kind of underdressed for such a beautiful place. Love the room service and the food was excellent. Staff was so professionally friendly.
Found someone's undergarments in the room when we settled in. But otherwise we had a wonderful time.
We stayed here because we were attending the Acres USA conference and didn't want to find another hotel in an unfamiliar place. Our room was on the second floor, it was clean and very comfortable. Staff was excellent; accommodating in every way.
There's a fridge & a little coffeepot in the room, but no microwave. We used the one in the snack room behind the front desk. A little inconvenient but since the breakfast was $16, $20 with tax it was worth the trip downstairs to heat my own food. There are many things I just can't eat so I bring my own food on all our trips. The noise from the bar and restaurant was overwhelming when we tried to go to sleep. I'd recommend a higher floor if possible.
During our stay there was a Pokémon convention taking place downstairs. Overall, a good experience but a bit more crowded than we were expecting.
Front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Nice (and large) gym!
The hotel has done a nice upgrade to their lobby and bar area. It is very inviting when you first come in. My reasoning for a two star is the cleanliness of the room, which is the most important attribute of a stay. My room was dusty and appeared to not have been used for a couple weeks at least, a musty smell was present. There was hair still left in the bathroom on the counter in the shower and even on the dresser in the main area. The other cleanliness issue was the coffee café, which was dirty inside with dry calcium or water residue.
Lastly, ultra disappointing was the M lounge. There was no hot food, service, coffee, or spirits for evening cocktails. Again the space was very inviting and very nice however, it lacked the expectations I have of a Marriott lounge.
Again, the hotel is doing a nice job with upgrades and a fresh look in the main areas. However, the rooms need housekeeping attention.
Overall, the room and hotel were satisfactory and met expectations. The highlight of my stay was Sandy at the front desk—she is truly outstanding. Her excellent customer service, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile made a lasting impression.
Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was very disappointing. The food was cold, there were no utensils or clean plates available, and the staff appeared disengaged, spending most of their time in the back. Even after asking twice, I ultimately had to go to the front desk just to get plates. This level of service is far below what I would expect from a Marriott property.
Sandy’s service sets the standard for hospitality, but the breakfast experience is an area that needs urgent improvement.
The rooms are clean modern and plenty of room.
Love it
