Loved the Spa and treatments
Dated. Needs massive internal refurbishment. Appalling signage for such a massive building. No real coffee available in rooms. TVs old fashioned cannot screen mirror. Morning room service not available till midday.

Beautiful location, staff and place. :)
Great hotel with beautiful views and well-kept grounds. The stay overall was lovely, but I marked it down slightly as there weren’t many personal touches, especially considering we were celebrating a birthday. Another small downside was the lack of specialist coffees—only filter was available. Finally, the main restaurant was closed, not mentioned on the website, so we had to eat in the bar. It was noisy as there was a football match on. That said, these are minor points, and I’d still be very happy to return.

Food options very good, and comprehensive selection for breakfast
Loved the setting, very peaceful. Only problem my room had no AC, and with outside temp over 30° the room must have been 35°!

Beautiful hotel and spa
Courteous, friendly staff in an excellent old Manor House. We hosted a dinner party which went without a hitch due to our waiters. The food was great as well.
Rooms were really hot, small fan which did nothing for the room.
Main dining room was not available, so dinner was moved to casual dining restaurant, had limited menu and very noisy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had found the hotel based on searching for somewhere we hadn’t been before. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to be able to walk around the grounds in the evening. While there isn’t a great deal to do in Ware, Scott’s Grotto (only open Saturday afternoon) and Hatfield House (30 minutes drive away) are both worth a visit. Thank you to all who made it an enjoyable weekend away for our family.

Peaceful & relaxing walks in the gardens and largest walled garden I've ever seen.
The spa, pool & jacuzzi are immaculate
Staff were brilliant. Breakfast was very good. Grounds are very pretty. Fitness/Health Club very good again with nice staff.
Room was uncomfortably warm such that we had to leave window open at night even though it wasn't exceptionally hot outside.
Shower temperature control was hit or miss.
