Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club

Our room was fine but I would have preferred to have stayed in one of the rooms that had been part of my school days... and I had informed them that I was an 'old girl'.

The staff of the club restaurants could be better. They look like they have no clue they’re running a restaurant. No one takes your order, you have to get your drinks yourself but then they try to charge you a service fee.

The food is also not great at this restaurant.

Man konnte die Fenster nur einen Spalt öffnen und es waren weit über 30 Grad in dem Zimmer. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage und der Bentilator hat nicht geholfen.

Die Hitze im Familienzimmer unter dem Dach war nicht auszuhalten: die Fenster nicht zu öffnen und viel zu klein. Als Ausweg wurde ein kleiner Ventilator angeboten, der nichts ausrichten konnte. Am Samstag kehrten wir gegen 16 Uhr zurück, um festzustellen, dass es keinerlei Zimmer-Service gegeben hat. Wir haben dann darum gebeten, den Service am Abend nachzuholen, wenn wir unterwegs sind. Zwar sind dann Handtücher gebracht worden, einen weitergehenden Zimmer-Service hat es nicht gegeben. Unser Versuch, die Rezeption telefonisch zu erreichen, ist sowohl intern als auch von extern mehrfach gescheitert. Meiner Bitte (mit Verweis auf die schlechte Service-Erfahrung während unseres Aufenthaltes), uns die Möglichkeit eines Late-Check-outs zu geben, wurde mit 30 Minuten entsprochen: 11.30 Uhr statt 11 Uhr…. Ganz ehrlich: Wir kommen nicht wieder!

I did say it was my husbands 60th and there was nothing extra in the room.
The room was the hottest room I have ever experienced in my life due to the weather. There was only one fan and nothing else offered.
The windows could only be opened a little due to the child lock was on, we had no air and could not sleep.
We only had 2 cans of water in our mini bar and for £300/night I am glad we hadn’t booked breakfast as we just wanted to go home away from the worst night of my life in a hotel!

Servizio assente maleducati e poco collaborativi

Non ce l’aria condizionata in tutto l’hotel. Hanno messo un ventilatore in ciascuna camera che faceva poco. Non hanno neanche messo ventilatori o pinguino nel ristorante.

Management pessimo. Sempre Lunghe code alla reception, nessun servizio di valet. Pochissimo personale.
Management del ristorante pessimo e scortese. Non facevano sedere gli ospiti dell’hotel dicendo che era pieno invece per poi scoprire tanti tavoli vuoti. Dopo alla lamentela hanno detto che non avevano personale di cucina e di servizio per riempire i tavoli

In terrazza c’era un po di aria fresca e si stava meglio ma servivano solo drinks nonostante il caldo pazzesco dentro non hanno cambiato idea. Servizio lento e scortese

In generale mancanza totale di management competente capisco che fa caldo ma devi affrontare il problema, cerano ospiti che hanno portato il pinguino e ventilarori aggiuntivi (vedi foto) cose che avrebbe potuto fare l’hotel stesso.

Peccato per la bella struttura gestita cosi male. Forse perche in zona ce poco quindi si riempie lo stesso

Room was tired, no air con, and dusty by the wardrobes. Breakfast was amazing. Dinner in the Vardons Restaurant was okay but food not great. Waiters amazing. Food lacked taste, eg. Haddock fish and chips, the fish was bland and batter was something of nothing.

Room wasn’t clean the bathroom bin was full of rubbish when we checked in there was only one towel in the bathroom and no tea bags or milk in the room and the mattress and too small for the bed

Was sold on room with extra large bed and got a queen bed and that all they have so miss sold. Headboard didn’t fit bed and had no bed side table. Out dated bathroom
