The room that we were changed to! When we arrived at the room we were allocated we felt that it was not to the standard we expected, certainly not for the money we had paid. We asked straightaway for a different room to reflect the price and they changed us to a much better room without hesitation. Which we very much appreciated. Thank you.

Bedrooms and bathrooms dated, no air conditioning, reception staff were not very knowledgable

Called for a lead extension for my partners sleep machine , never arrived.
Over all experience was terrible.
The grounds and spa are fab
Was on a spa 2 days with my 2 Daughters & would say one of the best that we have been too although a bit more expensive than we normally pay. The room was a nice size for all 3 of us. Staff were all very polite & helpful. Absolutely beautiful hotel inside & out.
I don’t like shower curtains apart from that excellent all round.
Location and the building is magnificent
It’s a very nice hotel overall, but families should be aware that children are not allowed to use the jacuzzi. Before confirming our booking, we specifically asked and were assured that children would be allowed to use it. However, when we arrived and stayed at the hotel, we were told the opposite.
We raised the issue with the hotel and explained that we had booked based on the information provided, but the only response we received was an apology and a statement that staff would be retrained. Unfortunately, this was disappointing and did not resolve the situation for us.
It was lovely, clean, the room was a great size and accommodated 4 adults and a baby comfortably. All staff were friendly. The Reception staff were welcoming. I love the property and the grounds were wonderful. The spa facilities were great too. We ate in the restaurant and the food tasted great 😊
