It was good overall, but we really needed an early night. Unfortunately, the wedding/party music didn't stop until 11pm, so it wasn't ideal before our trip.
staff were friendly. The rooms and hotel were very clean. Never had breakfast.
The restaurant, was only half full and we waited over an hour for our drinks and a little longer for our food. Our meals had to go back twice, once because of mistake with my gluten free order. Likely I had spotted the mistake. Second time because the steaks come back rare, instead of well done. They reckoned they were busy. Busy with a function and not employing enough staff, to run both.
Efficiant & quick check in & check out.
Location excellent.
Very cooperative staff at Cast iron restaurant during breakfast
Not much
The room we were first allocated was dusty, air con threw up dust and dirt lodged in it.
The windows were blown and had condensation. The room smelled.
For a different room, but we’re told that they were chockablock and fully booked. We decided we couldn’t stay there so I went back to the front desk, and we’re allocated a different room by another very helpful and lovely receptionist called Suella. (Or similar)
After the very sad funeral we went to we return to our room to find that Sue Ella had given us a bowl of fruit with an apology from the Hotel, which we really valued.
The service in the restaurant was poor and the food was not good quality,
Location was excellent
Enterance hall, sitting area, bar and restaurant was Beautiful 10/10
Toilet bath were old and awful 0/10
Muy amables. Nos dejaron usar la piscina después de hacer el check out.
Nice clean room with a comfortable bed and everything needed for a nights stay.
Everything was fine
The AC was perfect and great to have the pool!
Room and bed great food a bit over priced but tasted good and leisure centre excellent
Cost of parking
Very good choice of food at breakfast and evening meal food choices were excellent and generous in portion sizes.
Lighting in room could have been brighter especially by the bed and choice of teas in room limited
Good location, modern building.
- charging hotel guests for parking is ridiculous
- breakfast was expensive and the food not replenished quickly if at all
- no fan or aircon in the bar area
Best thing is the reception staff who are lovely. Very welcoming and friendly. Booked dog package but limited where you can go. No dog toy as promised on booking ( not that it matters but we were told). Bed for dog and bowls provided but only tiny area can sit it or outside
Worst bit was the bar: air con broken one person serving hugely busy and she was working flat out. Because of prom bar busy nobody clearing empty glasses left for hours on end. Despite no smoking guests were smoking throwing fag butts over grass and decking. Despite complaining nobody cleared glasses or stopped them smoking. Breakfast chaotic running out of pasties and bread but no staff to restock it. Had room number down as room only when we paid for breakfast.
Fag butts not cleaned from last night so all over decking and grass.
The hotel staff are really lovely but clearly they don’t have enough. Bar menu food ok but in the heat was expecting more cold food. The price was good though. Very reasonable. I’d probably go again for breakfast to be honest.
But the smoking rules and bar needs better management. Poor woman in the bar was on her own. Run ragged.
Room ok but hotel probably bit outdated but no issues with cleanliness except for bar garden. Which was dreadful.
I do think the staff are probably very overworked and clearly not enough staff. Need to sort out your breakfast service and bar and smokers. It’s not acceptable to be smoking and no manager enforcing it and smokers just chucking their fag butts everywhere.
