Perfect homebase for 6 nights to visit surrounding areas.
Pros:

Perfect homebase for a several day stay to visit Charleston and other surrounding areas. Very, very clean! Good fridge, stovetop, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, pots/pans, etc. The hotel has complimentary delicious coffee and pleasant outdoor seating area out back. Complimentary laundry room was a bonus! Staff: excellent.

Cons:

The bed was extremely firm. In room 118, the shower faucet is backwards: toward the “red” is cold and the “blue” is hot. But if you figure that out, all is well.

Pros:

Location was good. I appreciated the layout of the 2-bdrm suite, and the fact that guest laundry was complimentary was amazing.

Cons:

Very limited parking. Also, this is not just a commentary against Candlewood Suites, but I truly with a hotel chain would ensure a bedside table or surface of some kind on either side of the bed for the comfort of both partners.
