TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sioux Falls

Pleasantly surprised; they have upped their game since I was there last.

Was an amazing property! Will definitely be back next time we are in SD! Only things that were ehh on was the TV didn’t work very well.. and the pool area was uncomfortably hot! Other than that super amazing hotel!

Outside of property could use a refresh and a good cleaning. Its your basic no frills stay.

It's an old hotel that Marriott bought. And didn't renovate. Overrated on the price

We love Townplace Suites! They have never let us down. Whenever we need a hotel we look for Townplace.

The breakfast was not that great

It was very spacious. The road was noisy and so were the people above us. The room needed some updating as the furniture was worn and not what I would expect from a Marriot.

This was possibly the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We chose this location so my kids could swim and use the hot tub, arrived at 8pm. They said the hot tub was broken so we got ready to use the pool. It was ice cold, which the people in the lobby who were staying said they were staying for two days and said the staff kept telling them it would be twenty min to warm it up but it was never actually being worked on. Then the beds were god awful - springs were coming through, I was awake all night, tried sleeping on the floor on a blanket, but didn't sleep at all. Then in the morning they said the pool should be warm -it was like ice again. Don't stay here. The only reason people go to hotels is for amenities and to sleep, and we got neither.

This stay had a couple flaws. First was the pool was freezing cold, missing the basketball hoop and no hot tub as advertised. The second issue we had was the shower curtain was missing and we didn’t realize until the morning.

This place is terrible! First there is NO hot tub as listed in the pictures of this property then the pool is freezing. Our room had such an awful smell that I had a headache most of our stay. I even asked to switch rooms and they would not accommodate. The ice maker leaked all over our stuff and the floor board was clearly rotted out. The pullout bed was literally like laying on metal coils my poor kid woke up with a backache. The chair in our room was also very unsightly and dirty and super old. Many things about this property are extremely dated in comparison to other Marriott properties especially a towneplace. The fire alarm went off early the day we departed and flooded the lobby. Again this place is NOT worthy of the name they represent and should be considering a major change to accommodate people! I’m very upset by this property and it was one of the worst stays I’ve had.

When we checked in and got up to the room there was no water so we got relocated to a different room just to wake up this morning to the fire alarm going off.... And then also not having water again this morning. Also, the website says there's a hot tub until you get here and they have a note posted saying they don't have one up and running. How are we going to the pool room and there's not even a hot tub in there?. Definitely going to seek some money back on this one

Always a nice stay. Peaceful

The main reason I chose this property was the price and hot tub. I fell on ice and was really looking forward to that because im so sore. It still shows pictures of hot tub so I just assumed even tho it only lists a pool. Its very misleading.
